It has been reported that burglars managed to break into the Loughton home of Danielle Lloyd, while her footballer fiancé was playing a match up in Bolton.
The 27-year-old Ms Lloyd was upstairs with her son when the incident happened on the Wednesday night.
Footballer Jamie O’Hara, having being signed by Wolverhampton Wanderers on loan from Tottenham Hotspur, was at the Bolton away game in the north west at the time.
The burglars managed to get away with stealing a purse and a watch from the property in Debden Road, Essex.
The home security alarm did alert the model to the intrusion, but by the time she was downstairs, a burglar was spotted leaving the house through a window in the kitchen, according to reports.
Danielle said on the social networking site Twitter: “Someone burgled my house last night while me and the baby was in bed.”
She later added: “Am OK, just really shaken up as I was alone with (son) Archie at home.”
A spokeswoman for Essex Police said:
“Police are investigating a burglary at a house in Debden Road, Loughton.
“On February 3, it was reported that a purse and a watch were taken after a burglar had broken into the house.”
