One of the most highly anticipated TV shows of May is Halston on Netflix, the Ryan Murphy–produced miniseries about the legendary fashion designer. The glittery, dramatic series takes place in the 1970s, when Halston was rising to fame and Studio 54 was the place to be. That seductive world—and all the people who inhabited it—is explored in detail in Halston. 

Ewan McGregor takes on the titular role, and the people in his orbit (i.e., on the couches of Studio 54), include Liza Minnelli, jewelry designer Elsa Peretti, and legendary director Joel Schumacher.
