Channing Tatum Shared a Photo of His Daughter Everly’s Face for the First Time

Father’s Day may have been last week, but when you love your daughter, you can have a special dad moment whenever you want. Channing Tatum recently posted the sweetest picture of himself and his daughter, Everly, enjoying a day at the beach alongside a sweet anecdote for her to find when she’s older.

“You my littles are everything! You are my world and my heart,” he wrote. “You were looking at the full moon in this pic and telling me the prophecy of the full moon mermaid and then we ran into the water and looked for her and played with glow sticks in the night water calling out to the mermaids. you said you touched a bald headed mermaid and saw a tail.” Okay, I literally did that last night. It’s an awesome activity; everyone should try.

Tatum continued, “Haha one day you will read this and i hope laugh. We have fun 🤩 hehehe.” Wait, now I’m picturing adult Everly finding this picture and telling her own daughter about the prophecy of the full moon mermaid. I’m crying. Cool.

This is the first time Channing Tatum has shown his daughter’s face on his Instagram page, although she’s popped up on her mom Jenna Dewan’s page a few times. She’s also definitely serious about the mermaid thing; in August 2020, Dewan posted a video of Everly swimming with a mermaid tail in a pool. Listen, sometimes you just gotta mer. “I found a 🧜🏻‍♀️ in my pool,” Dewan wrote in the caption.

ICYMI, Tatum recently wrote a children’s book based on his relationship with his creative daughter. He even let her “do his makeup” blindfolded, and the results were adorably hilarious.
