Pippa Middleton Is Reportedly Pregnant With Her Second Child

Kate Middleton is about to have yet another niece or nephew!

Pippa Middleton, the younger sister of the Duchess of Cambridge, is reportedly pregnant with her second child, per People. Middleton and her husband, James Matthew, welcomed their first child, Arthur, in October 2018.

News about Middleton’s second pregnancy first broke on December 14 by Page Six. “Pippa and James are thrilled, it’s fantastic news amid a difficult year. The entire family is delighted,” a source told the publication. It seems the couple’s reported goal of “having children and leading a quiet life” is going extremely according to plan.

Middleton didn’t confirm her first pregnancy until a few months after rumors began to circulate. She ended up revealing the news in her fitness column for Waitrose Weekend in June 2018. “When I learned the happy news that I was pregnant, I realized I needed to adjust my normal 4 to 5 day a week routine and find a way of continuing my exercise safely throughout the three trimesters,” she wrote. “I’ve noticed my body change and weight increase, but through effective exercise and sports I feel that it’s being strengthened to support a healthy pregnancy, birth, and recovery.”

Over one year later, Pippa Middleton used the same method to drop a rare update about her son. “Now that Arthur is 11 months old and more mobile, I have been trying to come up with different activities to do with him,” she wrote in September 2019, per People.

Surely the arrival of a baby brother or sister will be able to keep Arthur occupied. If not, there are surely plenty of playdates to be had with his cousins, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, when it’s safe to meet up in person.

Congrats again to the couple! We’ll update this post if and when Middleton confirms the news herself.
