Kim Kardashian Says North Calls Their House ‘Ugly’ Every Time They Fight
North West has proved herself to be an honest child icon. Her mother, Kim Kardashian, revealed one of the brutally truthful things her oldest child says when they argue, and it’s hilarious (and depending on your taste, it may be true).
When asked on Ellen what the meanest thing her children have said to her is, Kardashian replied, “Every time I get into some kind of disagreement with my daughter North, she thinks this is a dig to me, and she’ll say, ‘Your house is all ugly, it’s all white. Who lives like this?’ She just thinks it, like, gets to me. And it is kind of mean, because I like my house.”
Kim Kardashian’s house is a minimalist’s dream. North is right that it’s all white, without much color or decor on the walls, or anywhere. Everything is white, from the walls to the floors to the ceilings to the furniture. TBH, we’re surprised North doesn’t say anything about those weird sinks.
Kardashian also gave some advice and told other stories in the video. Her main tip for anyone about to have kids is more of a reassurance. “Everyone’s winging it,” she said. “Just wing it. You’ll figure it out.”

When asked what her biggest parenting fail is, she said that she gives in too easily. “I’m guilty of a good bribe,” she said.
“I really try not to lie to my kids,” she said after being asked about a lie she’s told her children. “I was doing that at the beginning, and to try to get them out of the house or to try to go into a playdate or things like that. And I just realized quickly that it wasn’t gonna work for me, and I’d rather be honest with my kids.”
Kardashian also said her own kids creep her out sometimes: “Every time my kids are playing with bugs or their fascination with spiders and loving spiders creeps me out on another level.” Big mood.
