Khloé Kardashian Wore a Ring on That Finger—And Now Fans Think She’s Engaged to Tristan

Khloé Kardashian just posted a picture of her hands in which she’s wearing a diamond ring the size of a compact car, and fans are freaking out. In the snap–which we should note was placed on the grid at the tail end of April Fools’ Day, so, possibly sus–Kardashian shows off a multicolored manicure. Her caption is simply a series of colorful hearts, perhaps drawing attention to the candy-colored tips on her nails. But again, all I see is the ring. 

Boston Celtics player Tristan Thompson, Kardashian’s on-again, off-again boyfriend with whom she shares daughter True, left a flirty message: two “peeping eyes” emojis, then two heart-eyes emojis, then two diamond emojis, per People.

Other celebrities and friends filled the comments with cheeky notes. “All i see is Easter inspired nail art,” wrote Hollywood hair stylist Jen Atkin. Kim Kardashian’s business partner, Stephanie Shepherd, wrote, “🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩.” But it was Selling Sunset’s Christine Quinn who, as always, cut through the B.S. and said what was on everyone’s mind: “Girl we ain’t looking at your nails we looking at that 💎🤩😫❤️.”

Just a couple weeks ago, Khloé Kardashian wrote a very lovey-dovey post in honor of Thompson’s 30th birthday. “Thank you for showing me everything you said you would. For the father you are. For the best friend I have in you. I’m thankful that I can do absolutely nothing with you and it feels like everything,” she wrote on Instagram. “I can’t wait for all of the memories. This is when life starts getting good!”

Crucially, none of Kardashian’s sisters seem to have commented on the post. The super-close, supportive family seems like they would be the type to offer their well-wishes to a newly engaged couple in public. And wouldn’t Thompson want to honor their engagement with something more than a few emojis?

This family is not above accidentally-on-purpose starting a rumor. Only a week ago Kendall Jenner had to set the record straight when her mom, Kris, mistakenly implied that the model was pregnant. So until there’s further confirmation, we’re filing this rumor under “maybe.”
