Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck Have Reportedly Been Hanging Out Amid Her A-Rod Split

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have been hanging out amid her split from Alex Rodriguez, Page Six reports.

According to the outlet, Affleck reportedly has been picked up multiple times by a car that belongs to Lopez and taken to her nearby home for hangs. The two haven’t been photographed together, but Page Six does have photos of Affleck getting out of the car in question and also photos of Lopez in what looks like the same car. 

“Security picks him up at a nearby location and drops him off after spending a few hours at her house,” a source tells Page Six, which also reports Affleck has seen Lopez three times since she’s returned to Los Angeles. (She was in the Dominican Republic filming her movie, Shotgun Wedding.)

That being said, Affleck and Lopez are reportedly “just friendly” and, apparently, have remained that way throughout the years.  “They are friends … they’ve never not been,” an insider explains to Page Six. 

Affleck essentially confirmed this when he gushed about Lopez for her recent InStyle cover.  “I thought I had a good work ethic, but I was completely humbled and blown away by what she was committed to doing day in and day out, the seriousness in which she took her work, the quiet and dedicated way she went about accomplishing her goals, and then how she would go back and redouble her efforts,” he said. “She remains, to this day, the hardest-working person I’ve come across in this business. She has great talent, but she has also worked very hard for her success, and I’m so happy for her that she seems, at long last, to be getting the credit she deserves.”

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck famously dated and were engaged in the early aughts. They split in 2004. Rodriguez and Lopez confirmed their breakup in April 2021. 

Of course, take all this with a grain of salt for now. If anything, we can chalk it up to friendly exes being friendly.
