How to Live Stream the 2021 Emmys

The Emmys 2021 ceremony is upon us, and all your favorite quarantine shows are nominated. Everything from Bridgerton to The Queen’s Gambit to Ted Lasso received love, and I can’t wait to see who takes home the gold.

This has already been a history-making year in television. Mj Rodriguez is the first out trans woman to be nominated for a lead actress Emmy for her work in Pose. Marvel Studios won its first Emmys for WandaVision at the Creative Arts Emmys earlier in September. And after being shut out by the Golden Globes, I May Destroy You returned triumphant at the Emmys, with nominations for best limited series and for Michaela Coel, its star (and creator) for acting. Need a quick refresher on all the nominees? Right this way.

Great, now that you’re caught up, let’s talk about how to watch the Emmys.

The Emmys 2021 will air live on September 19 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS, and they’ll be hosted by Cedric the Entertainer. Here, check out all the different ways to tune into the broadcast and watch the 2021 Emmys live.

On TV

Okay, vintage! If you own a television that picks up network broadcasts, all you have to do is tune in to your local CBS affiliate to watch the Emmys 2021.

Emmys live stream

Hulu Plus Live TV, YouTube with Live TV, and Paramount+ will all give you access to CBS’s live programming, so you can binge-watch the Emmys, plus The Amazing Race and Survivor, to your heart’s content. In many ways, the Emmys ceremony is a reality competition. There are winners, losers, and twists. Just, hopefully, no unexpected fires.

There you have it: Everything you need to know about how to watch the Emmys this year. Now get your wine, snacks, and scorecards ready. This is my Super Bowl.
