Chris Evans Had the Best Response to Lizzo’s Joke About Being Pregnant With Their Baby

Chris Evans and Lizzo are making it really hard for us to ignore how great their hypothetical baby would be.

After revealing their flirty, maybe-kidding-but-I-hope-not DMs, Lizzo has once again stirred up a (very fake) rumor that she and the Avengers star are expecting a child together. In late July, the “Juice” singer uploaded a TikTok responding to a fan who jokingly said everyone knew she was knocked up by way of Steve Rodgers. In the video, Lizzo reveals, “This is something that I’ve been really trying to keep personal and private between me and the father of my child, but since we’re airing out all the rumors today, I’ve been sucking in. We’re gonna have a little America!” She pushes out her stomach and cradles her “bump” as the Captain America theme music plays. 10/10 content.

But that’s not the end. On August 1, Lizzo gave fans an update, posting a TikTok in which she lip-syncs to herself singing “all the rumors are true” and reveals more DMs between her and Chris Evans. After most recently wishing her a happy birthday (!!!!!), he messaged her, “Hi! Just heard about our little bundle of joy my mother will be so happy lol.” Lizzo celebrated the message by telling fans she had “secured the child support bag” and also posted a second message in which Evans asks that there not be a gender reveal party. Fair!

In the caption, she wrote, “OMG YALL— HE SAW THE BABY BUMP! WE DID IT! NOW YALL GOTTA NAME LIL MERICA!!!!! WHAT YALL BOUTA NAME MY BABY ?! 🤰🏾🇺🇸”
