Ayesha Curry Shut Down Rumors She and Steph Have an Open Marriage

Ayesha Curry just addressed claims she’s in an open relationship with her husband, NBA player Steph Curry. The chef and entrepreneur is not having any of it. 

The rumors first circulated in December 2021, when Instagram gossip account @DeuxMoi claimed that a certain couple wasn’t “as faithful in love” as they seem.

As reported by Complex, an anonymous source said they “have it on good authority that this well-known NBA couple aren’t as faithful in love as their social media and image make them out to be. They both have side hookups and flings but keep it very private to keep up the perfect family image they show to the world. I was shocked to learn they’ve been together for so long.” This was enough to get rumors flying on Twitter, but Ayesha Curry just shut down these claims in the comments section of a recent post. 

In a January 10 Instagram post, Ayesha praised Steph’s GQ cover shoot, commenting, “Good gracious God almighty” on a photo of her husband, with some loving emoji to spare. 

One follower’s comment alluded to her wanting an open relationship and being unfaithful in her marriage to Steph Curry. Ayesha replied in a commented thread, “Don’t believe everything you read. Do you know how ridiculous that is? Don’t disrespect my marriage like that. Please and thank you.” 

The Currys have been married since 2011 and have three kids. In a Glamour interview in October, Ayesha Curry gushed about her relationship with Steph, including the most romantic thing he’s ever done for her. 

“Recently my husband surprised me with a vow-renewal ceremony to celebrate our 10-year wedding anniversary, which I can’t think about without getting emotional,” Curry told Glamour in October. “He picked out everything from the food to the decorations, even a beautiful, beaded white dress for me to wear. Our oldest daughter officiated; it was so special. In terms of the best gift I gave him, is it corny to say our kids?”
