All the Looks at the 2021 Oscars

In many ways, the Oscars 2021 red carpet felt like a return to normalcy. While other award shows this year forged ahead without an in-person event, the Academy Awards decided to push the event back to April rather than plan yet another Zoom acceptance speech. 

That extra time worked in the stars’ favor when it comes to fashion, at least. The Oscars red carpet was a socially distanced event, but the celebrities still pulled out their glitziest looks for the affair. And we mean *glitzy—*metallic dresses, bold colors, and a lot of jewels were on trend this year. Carey Mulligan and Andra Day both opted for Oscar gold, while Amanda Seyfried, H.E.R., and Glenn Close picked colors that are sure to stand out.
