Why People Think Phoebe Dynevor and Pete Davidson Are Dating

Are Pete Davidson and Phoebe Dynevor dating? That’s what a few tabloids are speculating, but nothing’s been confirmed yet. So take all of this chatter with a grain of salt. 

If true, though, this coupling would break the internet. Davidson, as you know, stars on Saturday Night Live and was famously engaged to Ariana Grande in 2018. Dynevor, meanwhile, rose to fame in December 2020 after appearing on the hit Netflix show, Bridgerton. 

So where did this rumor start? Like all 2021 gossip, it gained steam after Deux Moi—the celebrity blind-item Instagram account with over 800,000 followers—posted about it. Then Page Six published a story on March 22 saying Davidson and Dynevor are believed to be “spending time” together in New York and England. Dynevor was just in New York City last month, where Davidson films SNL, and, per Page Six, Davidson was photographed in Altrincham, Greater Manchester, on Sunday, March 21. Dynevor has apparently been living in Manchester with her mother—and while Page Six says she hasn’t been spotted there yet with Davidson, him reportedly being in the country is adding to the speculation. 

The Daily Mail is reporting the same facts and adds the two have “grown close,” whatever that means. Neither Pete Davidson nor Phoebe Dynevor has said anything yet about these rumors, so don’t get too excited yet. It’s entirely possible these two have just been spending time together as friends…or that all of this is just tabloids being tabloids. It wouldn’t be the first time. 

Until we get confirmation one way or the other, though, I’ll be over here watching Bridgerton for the umpteenth time and fantasizing about a Pete Davidson cameo. I wonder what the mysterious, iconic Lady Whistledown would think about this potential pairing.
