Where to Watch All the Golden Globe–Nominated Movies and Shows

As always, the 2021 Golden Globe–nominated movies and shows were a little bit surprising. Not that we didn’t binge the croissant out of Emily in Paris, but no love for I May Destroy You? Oof, and Music has a best picture nod despite the backlash? Still, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association got it right in other categories. For one, three women are nominated for best director. That’s more female than male directors nominated for the first time ever.

Some of the titles are expected. Of course Mank was going to get nominations, being about the Hollywood glory days and all. But there are also some indies that could break through. People are loving Minari and Promising Young Woman. Oh, and if you’re wondering whether it’s worth it to use your Apple TV+ free trial to watch Ted Lasso…it totally is. We’ll have to wait until Sunday, February 28, to find out which titles are winners. It could be a Schitt’s Creek sweep like the Emmys, or maybe The Great will sneak in there? Fortunately we can start watching the Golden Globe nominated movies and shows before the awards show airs. In fact, we suggest you get started on your streaming.
