We’re Closing The Deal With Cision. Here’s What That Means
[ad_1]
It’s been three months since we first announced Brandwatch would be joining Cision. Today we’re closing the deal.
The big announcement is that we’re combining Brandwatch and
Falcon.io.
This will create a 1,000 person business with a mission to innovate.
What does this mean for Brandwatch customers and partners?
There are three key things:
- More investments in data science and AI so you can unearth more useful insights in our huge data set
- More data coverage and data partnerships – we’ll be growing our data sourcing and processing teams and capacity to add more data sets more quickly
- More options for combining Brandwatch with social media tools – now with Falcon.io’s social media management suite.
Continued commitment to excellence with digital consumer intelligence
We’ll continue our focus on digital consumer intelligence (DCI) and during the course of 2021 will be building connections within our fantastic network of smart customers and experts.
In the coming weeks we’re launching both our Brandwatch Community
, and the new Digital Consumer Intelligence Assessment – an online survey which helps organizations figure out where they are in the journey to using information about consumers to make smart decisions.
An exciting time
It’s been an incredible journey so far. You can read the story of how we built Brandwatch from the very beginning here

My thanks to everyone who’s been involved in getting the deal closed. Today is day one of the new chapter, but our customers and partners can expect the same level of hard work, innovation, care, and commitment – now, with a bit more of everything.
