Oscar-winning actor Viola Davis is Michelle Obama in the upcoming Showtime series The First Lady.

The 10-episode anthology series follows Michelle Obama, Eleanor Roosevelt, and Betty Ford as they navigate life in the White House and the spotlight. In addition to Davis, who is also an executive producer on the series, The First Lady stars Gillian Anderson and Michelle Pfeiffer as the women of The White House. As for the Obamas, O-T Fagbenle plays Barack Obama, while Saniyya Sidney and Lexi Underwood will be taking on the roles of the former first daughters Sasha and Malia.

Honestly, we’re already getting chills. At one point in the trailer, Davis completely embodies the former first lady while having an intimate conversation with her husband. She says, “In four years I don’t want to look back and think, ‘What did I become living in that house?’”

She later declares, “I will choose my team, pick my causes. “Understood?”

Per Showtime, The First Lady “is a revelatory reframing of American leadership, told through the lens of the women at the heart of the White House. In the government’s East Wing, many of history’s most impactful and world-changing decisions have been hidden from view, made by America’s charismatic, complex and dynamic First Ladies. The series will peel back the curtain on the personal and political lives of three unique, enigmatic women and their families, tracing their journeys to Washington, dipping into their pasts, and following them past the White House into their greatest moments. Through interweaving storylines so intimate it’s as if the White House walls are talking, Season One focuses on the enlightening lives of Michelle Obama, Betty Ford and Eleanor Roosevelt.”
