The Met Gala might be the Oscars of fashion but, for true industry insiders, the 2021 CFDA Fashion Awards is a true celebration of the year’s brightest talent. It’s when designers, their muses, and an assortment of incredibly stylish celebrities converge to toast up-and-coming designers, models, and the year’s singular fashion icon. (Zendaya received the 2021 CFDA Fashion Icon Award, an honor that’s been given to Kim Kardashian West, Rihanna, and Beyoncé in recent years.)
