Sophie Turner Says She Misses Her Baby Bump

Sophie Turner, who welcomed her first child—a daughter named Willa—with husband Joe Jonas in July, subtly opened up about her pregnancy. 

On December 25, a fan asked her to share a photo via her Instagram Stories of something she misses. In reply, she Game of Thrones star posted a throwback photo from earlier this year when she was carrying her baby girl. “My belly,” Turner captioned the image that sees her taking a bathroom mirror selfie of her growing belly in an all-black ensemble.

The actor also shared an adorable selfie of her and Jonas on Christmas Day. The new parents marked their first holiday in their new roles as mom and dad by cuddling up together (literally cheek-to-cheek) in front of the tree.

In the shot, they were matching black turtlenecks and a pair of festive pink paper crowns.

There was no sight of baby Willa as the couple is notoriously private about their little one. According to Entertainment Tonight, Turner and Jonas are “very cautious about who is around them and their little girl.” A source explained, “The couple is already obsessed and can’t stop gloating about their new addition.”

The insider added, “The couple is taking time to enjoy this special moment and have only shared the news and updates with family and friends.”

Earlier this month, Turner did make a rare comment about her delivery amid the coronavirus pandemic in an attempt to educate people on the importance of wearing a mask in public. “If I can wear a mask while I give birth, you can wear a mask at Walmart. And that’s the tea,” she said at the time.

In November, the new mom also debuted her new tattoo: a new “W” tattoo on her wrist in honor of Willa, just below the “J” tattoo she presumably got for the Jonas Brothers singer.

Considering that Sophie Turner is clearly feeling nostalgic for pregnancy days, could there be another baby for the Jonas family in the near future? A source recently told Us Weekly, “They are really excited to expand their family. Having the baby has made them really close and want to have a large family together.”
