Rihanna Wore Boxers Under a Miniskirt, and It’s a Whole Serve

I saw Rihanna wearing a miniskirt and boxers, so I bought a miniskirt and boxers. Well, not yet, because the “Diamonds” singer was just spotted wearing the look on Monday, March 29. But I’m working on it. 

Yes, Rihanna used a trip to a Los Angeles grocery store to show off a new look, and it’s a whole serve. Granted, it’s not surprising Rihanna is experimenting with new ways to wear a miniskirt. She’s Rihanna, after all. She sets trends. The multihyphenate businesswoman founded the lingerie line Savage x Fenty in 2018, so you could say she’s no stranger to styling undergarments in the chicest way possible. “I’ve been slowly evolving throughout the fashion world. First wearing it, buying it, being recognized for my style, and then collaborating with brands,” she said during a 2019 New York Times interview. 

The year before, she explained in a 2018 elle.com interview that her Savage x Fenty line encourages people to feel sexy and also tap into their inner savage.

“To be honest, I pray a lot because any negativity is just the devil trying to ruin my day,” she said. “My core is always gonna be there; you are gonna be you every single day of your life, and nobody can take that from you. Whether it’s your sexiness or confidence, it’s gonna be there.”

She continued, “I am a savage, so everything I do is gonna be savage. Savage is not about looking sexy, it’s not about the product—it’s all about you. It’s all about how you feel. You cannot fake sexy, what you need to do is find it. Clear all that negative shit out, get to your sexy, and own it—that shit is yours.”
