Mandy Moore Dyed Her Hair Blonde Just in Time for Summer

Mandy Moore’s new hair color is making fans do a double take. The This Is Us actor debuted newly dyed blonde hair on social media in May, and it’s reminiscent of the hair she rocked during her pop star days. 

The “Candy” singer captioned the Instagram photo, “Back to blonde for summer. ☀️” See it for yourself, below. 

Moore says she received the new look by using Garnier Nutrisse hair dye and wrote in a separate Instagram post, “It’s so much fun to be blonde again, and I’m completely in love with my new hair already 😍.”

She also discussed her decision to dye her hair in a recent interview with People. “I’ve been longing for some much-needed change,” she said. “It really felt like now was the perfect time to do something different, with the world seemingly opening back up again.… Normal feels like it’s really right around the corner.”

This new hair color isn’t the only change happening in Mandy Moore’s life. She welcomed her first child, son August, in February 2021 with her husband, Taylor Goldsmith. And it was also recently announced that This Is Us will air its final season in 2022. The sixth season will wrap up the Pearson family’s journey, and Moore will say goodbye to her character, Rebecca.

“Officially official. One season left of my favorite job,” she wrote in an Instagram post sharing a tweet from creator Dan Fogelman, who shared the news. “You can bet we will be soaking in every single moment. #thisisus.” 

Fogelman had written, “Whoever casually first said ‘All good things must come to an end’ never had to end their favorite thing. While sad to have just 1 season left, also grateful to NBC for letting us end the show how, and when, we always intended. We’ll work hard to stick the landing.”
