Machine Gun Kelly Stabbed Himself Trying to Impress Megan Fox
Machine Gun Kelly is willing to bleed for love.
The rapper (whose given name is Colson Baker) recently appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon wearing a shirt emblazoned with girlfriend Megan Fox’s face. Baker and Fox met while filming a movie in early 2020 and have been hot and heavy since May of that same year. In October 2021, Baker told GQ Style that the pair “go to hell” for each other. “It’s ecstasy and agony for sure,” he said at the time. Well, now we have an example of what he meant.
During his appearance, Baker told Fallon that he accidentally stabbed himself while trying to show off to his “twin flame” at the start of their relationship. The knife, of course, was a gift from Travis Barker, who is regularly seen on double dates with the pair, along with his fiancé Kourtney Kardashian.
“Travis got me this knife that had an [engraving] from the new album on it, and I was like, ‘Check this out, this is sick,’ and I threw it up and it came and stuck in my hand,” Baker said, showing off the scar he still has. Unfortunately, he was too busy looking at Fox to catch the knife before it buried itself in his hand. “The next morning as soon as she left, I was like, ‘Yo, I need stitches real quick.’”
Obviously, a little bit of blood is not a turn-off for Fox, who gave Machine Gun Kelly a necklace containing a drop of her own blood in their early days. “I wear your blood around my neck,” he wrote on Instagram in February, alongside a photo of the gift.
He later explained to Ellen DeGeneres that Fox gave him her blood when she was going to film a movie in Bulgaria, and he was “freaking out” over the fact that he couldn’t visit her because he didn’t have a passport. “I mean, some people give a handkerchief to their partner,” MGK told DeGeneres, per BuzzFeed. “She gave me her DNA.”
