Kim Kardashian Says Kourtney ‘Degraded’ an Employee: ‘You Can’t Even Keep a Nanny’

Tensions between Kourtney and Kim Kardashian mounted during the latest episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

“Kim’s nanny and I had a little disagreement when we were away traveling together,” Kourtney said during a confessional in the May 20 episode. 

But according to Kim, whatever transpired between her sister and her nanny reduced the nanny to tears. Per People, Kim told Kourtney the nanny “felt so degraded by you, and you just started yelling at her.” To make matters worse, the disagreement happened in public and in front of Kourtney’s son, Reign.

While Kourtney maintains she never raised her voice, she says she confronted the nanny for telling Reign he would “go to jail” if he talked in the car. And she says she chose to have the conversation in front of Reign to show that she “has his back.” In fact, Kourtney told Kim that Reign is “big” on his mom confronting people when they do something he doesn’t like.

“It should have been in private,” Kim insisted. This is where things got tense between the sisters. When Kim said she prefers “to keep my staff for a long time” and confirmed she would not be firing the nanny in question, Kourtney said the nanny would never be welcome around her three kids: Mason, Penelope, and Reign Disick. “Kourtney, you can’t even keep a nanny,” Kim shot back.

This was in reference to times nannies have reportedly quit over Kourtney’s children’s behavior. Back in 2019, Kourtney vehemently defended young Penelope for deliberately scratching a nanny in the face. “I scratched you and we used to fucking slap my nannies, like bam, across the face,” Kourtney told her mom, Kris Jenner, at the time, per People.

However, the criticism still didn’t sit right with Kourtney. “Kim, shut the fuck up, honestly. The way you’re talking is wild,” Kourtney said before leaving the room. 

Kim later apologized to her sister, and to combat rudeness between the sisters, Khloé Kardashian implemented a “negativity jar.” That being said, there was little closure regarding Kourtney’s “disagreement” with Kim’s staff.
