Kim Kardashian Is Designing the Official Olympics Underwear for Team USA

Kim Kardashian is taking Skims all the way to Tokyo for the 2021 Olympics.

Skims will be providing official Team USA undergarments, loungewear, and sleepwear to every female athlete competing in the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games. But that’s not all: Kardashian’s limited-edition collection will also be available to purchase on the Skims website. (We recommend signing up for alerts so you don’t miss out!)

On June 28, the fashion mogul announced her team-up with Team USA on Twitter and Instagram. “Ever since I was 10 years old, I’ve heard every single detail about the Olympics from my stepdad,” Kardashian wrote, referencing Olympic gold medalist Caitlyn Jenner. “As I would watch the athletes compete, I would grow to understand the dedication and honor being a part of the Olympics embodied.”

“I traveled w my stepdad and family to all different cities for the Olympic trials, the Olympics and track meets of @caitlynjenner’s and at every stop I would buy an Olympic t-shirt as a souvenir,” Kardashian continued on Instagram. “When I received the call inviting Skims to be a part of @TeamUSA 🇺🇸, every moment I’ve spent admiring the strength and energy of the Olympians from the sidelines came full circle.”

Jenner, who took home gold at the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal, commented on her stepdaughter’s achievement, writing, “Wow! Full circle! Amazing! So so proud. Love you. Congratulations!!!”

Kim Kardashian tapped Olympic swimmer Haley Anderson, Paralympic track and field athlete Scout Bassett, Olympic track and field athlete Dalilah Muhammad, Olympic basketball player A’ja Wilson, and Olympic soccer player Alex Morgan for the campaign promo.

“These women are incredible role models for younger girls, including my own daughters, showing them that anything is possible if you work hard enough,” Kardashian said in a press release, per People. “Skims is designed to empower women to feel their best every day and we’re excited to work with Team USA to help spread this message.”

The Olympics are set to kick off in Tokyo on July 23 and go through August 8.
