Kim Kardashian Completely Covered Her Face at the 2021 Met Gala

And the award for most shocking 2021 Met gala look goes to Kim Kardashian. 

The beauty mogul showed up in a jaw-dropping, all-black Balenciaga look. The gag? Her entire face was covered. Like, her whole face.

The 2021 Met gala is one of the first big events Kim Kardashian has attended since her split from Kanye West became public. She hasn’t given any interviews about what happened, but she talked about the breakup on the last season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. 

“He deserves someone that can go support his every move and go follow him all over the place and move to Wyoming,” she said in an episode, wiping her tears. “I can’t do that…. I feel like a fucking failure that it’s, like, a third fucking marriage. I feel like a fucking loser. But I can’t even think about that. I want to be happy.” 

News of the split started circulating in January 2021. Soon, both Caitlyn Jenner and Kris Jenner gave statements about it. “I think it’s always going to be hard anytime, you know, there’s a lot of kids,” Kris said on The Kyle & Jackie O Show on March 18, according to Us Weekly. “The good thing about our family is that we are there for each other and supportive and we love each other very, very much, so all I want is for those two kids to be happy. And I want the kids to be happy. That’s the goal.”

Meanwhile, Caitlyn told Access Hollywood, ““I love Kimberly, Honestly, I love Kanye. I have had a very good relationship with Kanye. I wish them both nothing but the best. But as far as speaking about that, that is their story to tell, not mine. And I think you might learn some things in the final episode [of KUWTK], I wouldn’t be surprised—although I haven’t seen the show, but I do remember shooting scenes. And yeah, I think it should be pretty interesting.”
