How did this even start?
It seems being linked to Davidson after a hosting stint on Saturday Night Live is becoming somewhat of a right of passage in Hollywood. As for Kardashian, it seems that the on-screen kiss they shared as Jasmine and Aladdin when she hosted SNL for the first time on October 9 was the start of a beautiful friendship, at the very least.
Okay, so technically this was not Kardashian and Davidson’s first meetup. Back in January 2019, following her ex Kanye West’s controversial appearance on the variety show, the group hung out at Kid Cudi’s birthday party. Timothée Chalamet was there too! It was a whole thing.
Kardashian and West called off their marriage of seven years back in February 2021. While the reality star opened up about her reasons for filing for divorce during the KUWTK finale, she whittled it down to one thing for Saturday Night Live.
“I’ve been very blessed in this life, and I’m grateful for everything, honestly, all the ups, all the downs,” Kardashian began. “I mean, I married the best rapper of all time. Not only that, he’s the richest Black man in America, a talented, legit genius, who gave me four incredible kids.”
She continued, “So when I divorced him, you have to know it came down to just one thing: his personality. I know it sounds mean, but people keep telling me that comedy comes from truth. And if there’s one thing that I always strive to be, it’s genuine.”
As for Davidson, the comedian reportedly ended a brief romance with Bridgerton star Phoebe Dynevor back in August.
