Kanye West Says He Wants Kim Kardashian Back Amid Pete Davidson Dating Rumors
Kanye West must’ve heard that Kim Kardashian is hanging out with Pete Davidson, because he just revealed he wants her back.
On his November 4 appearance on the Drink Champs podcast, the rapper repeatedly referred to Kardashian as his wife and suggested their divorce hasn’t officially happened. “SNL making my wife say ‘I divorced him’ on TV because they just wanted to get that bar off,” West said, per People. “And I ain’t never even seen the papers, we’re not even divorced.”
Kardashian and West reportedly called off their marriage of seven years back in February 2021. While the reality star opened up about her reasons for filing for divorce during the KUWTK finale, she also whittled it down to one thing for Saturday Night Live while hosting on October 9.
“I’ve been very blessed in this life, and I’m grateful for everything, honestly, all the ups, all the downs,” Kardashian began. “I mean, I married the best rapper of all time. Not only that, he’s the richest Black man in America, a talented, legit genius, who gave me four incredible kids.”
She continued, “So when I divorced him, you have to know it came down to just one thing: his personality.”
The pair got married in 2014 and share four children: eight-year-old North, five-year-old Saint, three-year-old Chicago, and two-year-old Psalm. Kanye West says he wants to reconcile with his “wife” and that his children want the same.
“That ain’t no joke to me,” West said on the podcast. “My kids want their parents to stay together. I want…us to be together.”
For her part, Kim Kardashian has been making headlines since October 29, when she was first spotted holding hands with SNL’s Pete Davidson on a roller coaster in California. The pair have since been spotted a few more times, including having dinner in Davidson’s hometown of Staten Island.
While multiple reports suggested the pair were just friends, one Us Weekly source teased that more could come from the friendship. “No one really knows what is going on with Kim and Pete,” the “insider” told the magazine. “They are just friends right now, but things could turn romantic.”
Another source told Page Six Kardashian “is intrigued” by Davidson: “She likes him.”
