Joe Biden’s Granddaughter Wore a Young Joe T-Shirt to an Official Event

Nobody stans President Joe Biden quite like his granddaughters.
In yet another show of support, two of his brood joined the president in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on April 30 to mark Amtrak’s 50th anniversary. Lately, the Biden women have been praised for their impeccable style, and they didn’t disappoint on this occasion.
While Finnegan Biden looked cool and put-together in a belted shirtdress and white booties, it was her sister, 20-year-old Maisy, who stole the show. The younger Hunter Biden daughter made a statement in a tailored blazer and a graphic T-shirt with a portrait of young Joe Biden. Yes, that photo of POTUS from his college days.
This wasn’t the only photo-worthy moment from the event. There’s also this great shot of the president helping Finnegan off the train.
Although Joe Biden says his granddaughters’ use of social media sometimes makes him “look like I’m in the seventh century,” they’re clearly his fiercest supporters and defenders. Finnegan and Maisy’s older sister Naomi recently shut down a rant Tucker Carlson made about her grandparents in just one tweet.
“So it’s official: The Bidens’ affection is totally real,” Carlson said during a segment featuring photos of Joe Biden and his wife, Dr. Jill Biden, showing PDA. “It’s in no way part of a slick PR campaign devised by cynical consultants.” After laughing, he added, “No, not at all. Their love is as real as climate change.”
Naomi Biden retweeted the video with a few simple words: “Someone give this man a hug.”
In the first 100 days of Biden’s presidency, the grandkids have handled the spotlight with incredible grace. In an interview, the girls credited Sasha and Malia Obama as role models.
“[We’ve] had the privilege of being able to see two of our friends navigate eight years of what was really difficult, and they did so so beautifully, and they came out so grounded and humble, and they’re so smart and driven,” Finnegan said in the pre-inaugural interview with former first daughter Jenna Bush Hager. “So I think we can only take advice from them.”
