Hailey Baldwin continues to prove her style is low-key perfection during any season, and her most recent winter outfit is essentially a gift for those of us still not ready to give up our sweatpants quite yet when heading out of the house.
The model was spotted out in a chilly-seeming Los Angeles last week wearing something we presumably all have in our closets: oversized sweatpants paired with a plain black top—could be a tee, could be long sleeve, could be a bodysuit—and the piece that ties it all together and gives it its exceptionally right now vibe, an oversized overcoat. And her signature sneakers (and mask) of course.
The outfit is easy to cop—or at least copy—in its entirety: The joggers can be found pretty much anywhere from Amazon to Zara—just make sure to size up to get Hailey’s slouchy look. Add any black top you own, and a roomy overcoat to pull it all together, or at least an oversized blazer or jacket of some sort. If you live with a man, borrowing might be essential.
Hailey is among the queens of comfort since quarantine started, often getting photographed running errands in easy, accessible pieces like leggings, sweatsuits, puffer vests, trench coats, bike shorts, and hoodies. Pieces most of us have replicas of in some variation and maybe just need a little inspo on how to put it all together.
So next time you’re running to the grocery store or grabbing a socially-distant al fresco coffee or cocktail, don’t both er changing out of your joggers and black tee you wore all day—just add a stylishly oversized coat and call it a day.
