Gigi Hadid Has Curtain Bangs Now, and They Look So Good

Gigi Hadid is the latest celeb to add to your “curtain bangs” inspo board. 

The model and new mom showed off her cut with a selfie on Instagram posted December 17, and she looks fantastic. 

“Fresh snow fresh cut,” Hadid wrote in the caption. People in the comments section are digging Hadid’s new look. Her older sisters, in particular, gave their seals of approval, with Alana Hadid writing, “Love those baby bangs. Miss your face and your place,” and Marielle Hadid commenting simply, “Purdieeeeee.” 

The great thing about curtain bangs is you don’t need to be a supermodel to pull them off—they look amazing on pretty much everyone. 

“Curtain bangs are the gateway to bangs, because they’re super versatile,”  Emily Heser, a stylist at Cutler Salon in New York City, previously told Glamour. “They’re long enough to grow out or pin back if you want, but they can also be cut into a shorter look.” Celebrity hairstylist Alex Brown also told us, “They don’t take on the commitment of adding a full-throttle bang to your hair. They’re less work and are so easy to grow out.”

This is one of the likely reasons the style is so popular with celebrities like Kaia Gerber, Ariana Grande, Jennifer Lopez, and now Gigi Hadid. 

Hadid and her sister, Bella, were spotted out and about in New York City on December 16 with Gigi’s baby daughter in a stroller. Perhaps they were heading to or from the salon? She’s wearing a hat, so it’s hard to say. But we love seeing them properly masked up, as well.
