Everything We Know About ‘The Bachelorette’ Season 17

Adams found love on the last season of The Bachelorette and is currently engaged to contestant Zac Clark while Bristowe starred in season 11.

“Let’s go girls,” Bristowe wrote on Instagram following the announcement. She then shut down a few trolls who were upset over Harrison, according to People. “Truthfully we are there to support the new bachelorette,” she replied to one Instagram user. “We aren’t ‘replacing’ anyone!!!”

Adams also took to Instagram stories to discuss the change. “I feel so honored to be given the opportunity but I’m just so, so, so happy,” she said, per People. “And I’m so happy that you guys are happy. I’ve been getting so many phenomenal messages and words of encouragement; it means so much.”

She also said Harrison called and congratulated her on her new role. “And the fact that I talked to Chris the other day and he was so kind and congratulated me for being part of the next season meant the absolute world,” she said. “So with that being said, y’all, let’s freakin’ go! Bachelorette 17, your girl’s here, baby!”

The new Bachelorette hasn’t been announced…but there are rumors. According to spoiler king, Reality Steve, Katie Thurston from James’ season will be announced as the new Bachelorette during the After the Final Rose special on March 15.

However, in an Instagram post, Steve also suggested that Acho will announce that Michelle Young will have her own season of The Bachelorette, which will be filmed this Summer. According to Steve, this decision was made so that Michelle wouldn’t have to give up teaching her class again while filming.

This post will be updated as more information becomes available.
