‘Emily in Paris’ Season 2 Featured an Iconic Blake Lively Fashion Moment

Okay, we know “Mindy” didn’t actually pick out this outfit, being a fictional character and all. She, like the rest of the characters, was dressed by Emily In Paris‘ costume designers, Marylin Fitoussi and Patricia Field. But we still think the ensemble says something about Mindy. 

After all, in season one, Emily (Lily Collins) said she wanted to be just like Serena van der Woodsen (Lively) growing up, so we know at least she has seen the CW series! And if Gossip Girl exists in the EIP universe, then so does Lively…and so did this red carpet moment. 

But Mindy isn’t the only one of Emily’s friends walking around in celebrity red carpet looks. In the first episode of the new season, Camille (Camille Razat) wears a black YSL dress that was also spotted on Olivia Rodrigo in September. Here it is on Camille:

Hailey Bieber also wore the dress in January, as well as a slightly modified bejeweled velvet version to the Met Gala in September.
