Courteney Cox’s Kitchen Proves She’s Monica in Real Life

Courteney Cox took to Instagram on Thursday, April 15, to show off her hyper-organized kitchen, and it proves once and for all that she’s Monica in real life. 

“Tell me you’re a Monica without telling me you’re a Monica,” Cox said in a selfie video. She then proceeded to do just that by unveiling a drawer of perfectly neat cooking utensils, a well-appointed spice cabinet, and a condiment drawer with individual labels—in other words, three things Monica would absolutely have in her kitchen. Life is intimating art, people!

The comments section is flooded with fans living for Cox’s similarities to her Friends character. “She was born for that role,” one person wrote.

“Okay now, i love you even more,” replied another. 

“Classic Monica,” Erin Foster quipped, while Debra Messing—a fellow 1990s–2000s sitcom icon—wrote, “Jealous.”

Honestly, I am too. I’m moving soon. Courteney Cox, can you help me organize my kitchen? I’m useless in this department. 

Speaking of Friends, the cast’s highly anticipated, unscripted HBO Max reunion has wrapped filming, which means we hopefully should be getting it very soon. As for what we can expect, it’s still a mystery. “There’s different facets to it,” Lisa Kudrow, a.k.a. Phoebe, told Rob Lowe on his podcast, Literally! With Rob Lowe, according to People.

“I’ll be David. Nothing is scripted, and we are not in character,” David Schwimmer, who plays Ross, told Graham Norton in April 2021 about the special. But he then added, “We are all ourselves, although there is one section of it that I don’t want to give away, but we all read something.” Read something? Are we talking about a classic scene? A whole episode? Maybe it’s the one with Monica’s secret closet—an iconic episode that really highlights her penchant for cleanliness. 

Whatever it is, I can’t wait to watch.
