Clare Crawley and Dale Moss Are Reportedly ‘Working on Things’

Just because it’s over doesn’t mean it’s really over! Clare Crawley and Dale Moss, the couple with so much chemistry that Crawley ended her run as the Bachelorette early to be with him, aren’t calling it quits just yet, despite some recent troubles.

Though they were at one point engaged and living together in New York, Moss and Crawley split up in January, and while they aren’t officially back together, they’re now “working on things that went wrong in the past,” according to a source who spoke to People.

“Dale and Clare love and care for one another deeply, they always have and will,” the source said. “They are giving their relationship the opportunity it deserves and working on things that went wrong in the past.”

Crawley and Moss left The Bachelorette to be together after just two weeks (four episodes). Previously, a source told People that plans for the future played a part in their break-up: “Dale wasn’t ready for marriage and kids…He did have feelings for Clare but he wasn’t on the same page as her.” Even during the best of times, their situation was not without complications. Their very public and unexpected romance led to some unhappy viewers becoming, well, haters, and Crawley posted about the difficulties of a relationship in the spotlight back in November. 

Now, without quite saying whether the two are currently on or off, the latest source says, “They are enjoying spending time together and are taking things slowly.” They were recently photographed out together on Saint Patrick’s Day in New York sharing a kiss, although, given the mask situation, does it count?

Maybe it’s a pre-birthday reunion. Clare Crawley’s 40th birthday is on Saturday, March 20, and they say you should always spend your special day with someone you love. We’ll keep you posted.
