Channing Tatum Shared a Beautiful Shirtless Photo of Himself, Taken By His Daughter, Everly

Everly Tatum, the 8-year-old daughter of actors Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan, clearly inherited some pretty talented genes from her parents.

On September 5, the Magic Mike star shared a snapshot of a pretty stunning black and white photo of himself on Instagram and it looks like his daughter was the one behind the camera. “Photo credit: Evelyn Tatum,” he captioned the shirtless image, which has amassed over 700 thousand likes. 

Tatum and Dewan, who are now divorced, welcomed their daughter in 2013. In August of this year, Jenna Dewan opened up on the Dear Gabby podcast about the postpartum anxiety she experienced shortly after Everly was born due, in part, to her and Tatum’s intense work obligations. “I had to travel with her, and at the time, Chan wasn’t available to be with us for the most part,” Dewan said on the podcast, according to People. “So, it was me, my doula, and Evie all by ourselves traveling at six weeks.” 

She continued, “It was, like, I just never stopped. You know, you’re up a couple times in the night and then you’re working all day. I was breastfeeding, I was pumping, I was without a partner. I mean, it was just craziness.”

A few days later, Dewan hit back at outlets that she felt mischaracterized her quotes as “slamming” Tatum, writing on Twitter, “As two working parents, we both faced challenges at the time, but I speak only for myself and not about him.”

For his part, Tatum appears to love being a girl dad. In May 2021, the actor released a children’s book, “The One and Only Sparkella,” about an exuberant young girl and her dad’s journey towards self-acceptance and love. In that spirit, Tatum shared an adorable mirror selfie after Everly did his makeup this April. “When you let your daughter do your makeup blindfolded,” he wrote alongside the image, wearing some messy purple and blue eyeshadow, pink blush, and magenta on his lips. 

Channing Tatum shared the first photo of Everly’s face on Father’s Day. “You my littles are everything! You are my world and my heart,” he wrote in his tribute. “You were looking at the full moon in this pic and telling me the prophecy of the full moon mermaid and then we ran into the water and looked for her and played with glow sticks in the night water calling out to the mermaids. you said you touched a bald headed mermaid and saw a tail.” 

Tatum continued, “Haha one day you will read this and I hope laugh. We have fun 🤩 hehehe.”
