Cara Delevingne Got the Same Massive Rose Tattoo as Selena Gomez

Cara Delevingne just got some new ink. The 29-year old model and actor got a rose tattooed on the side of her ribcage. The rose has a watercolor effect that makes it look a little faded, and the black leaves drip down like wet paint.

If it looks familiar, it’s not deja vu. Selena Gomez has the same watercolored flower on her back, which was debuted on Bang Bang NYC’s Instagram account on December 29. Just one day later, Bang Bang shared a video of Cara Delevingne, revealing that the first tattoo was actually a part of a matching set.

While Delevigne and Gomez’s rose tattoos are not completely identical and were placed in different locations, it appears the celebs got them together. Bang Bang captioned the post of Delevingne’s rose tattoo, “Matching for @caradelevingne. I had so much fun making these tattoos— thanks for always trusting me Cara. Fyi I didn’t tell them til the end that these were my first watercolor tattoos ever.” Check out Delevingne’s rose tattoo below:

Cara Delevingne and Selena Gomez have been close for years. They vacationed together in St. Tropez in 2014 and kissed each other for the kiss cam at a Knicks game in New York City this past November. 2021 was also the year that Gomez and Delevingne became co-workers when the model was cast in the second season of Gomez’s hit Hulu comedy Only Murders in the Building, opposite Steve Martin and Martin Short. Per Variety, Delevingne has been cast as Alice, “a sophisticated art world insider who becomes enmeshed in the mystery.”

In early December, Gomez spoke to Extra about working with Delevingne on the second season. “We just did our first day together yesterday… It’s so fun,” she said. “We were just dying and laughing most of the time because we just know each other so well.”
