Britney Spears Opens Up About Horrifying Conservatorship Experiences in New Posts

Now that Britney Spears’s conservatorship is terminated, she’s been taking to social media more to open up about her experiences. And in two new posts, the pop icon gets candid about what her life was like for those 13 and a half years. Specifically, she reveals how little social time she was allotted while performing in Las Vegas during her residency and also discusses the therapy she was forced to undergo.

In true Spears fashion, though, she’s talking about these topics with humor, optimism, and positivity. Spears isn’t a victim—and it’s clear from these posts she’s stronger and happier than ever.

The “Brave New Girl” singer celebrated her 40th birthday on December 2, and in an Instagram post, she announced she’ll be wearing party dresses every night to make up for the time she lost in the conservatorship.

“I’m not turning 40 … I’m turning 4 and if any of you haven’t HEARD … I did almost 250 shows in Las Vegas for 4 years and went out twice 🤔🤔🤔 !!!!” Spears wrote. “With that said … I think I will have to put on my hot little dresses 👗 on every night for the rest of my life to break even for working for my family my whole life with only old songs permitted !!! More classic fashion dresses coming soon to my Instagram … by me … worn by me … and in the meantime, kiss my beautiful white ass ‘Murica.”

And in a second video, Spears parodied a therapist and opened up about the therapy she had to endure against her will.

“As much therapy as I’ve had to do against my will … being forced to pay and listen to women telling me how they are going to further my success … it was a joy … no really … 10 hours a day, 7 days a week … no lie … in this beautiful nation it would only be fair for me to dedicate my life to skits to the wonderful therapist 🙄😂🙊 !!!” she wrote. “I genuinely thank you dear sweet hearts for your efforts 😜 !!! The end is me celebrating 🥳 … it’s clearly OVER because my medication is working ‘Murica !!!! Pssss BALLS 🏀⚽️⚾️ and KISS MY MOTHER FUCKING ASS 💋🍑 !!!!!”

Britney Spears’s conservatorship was officially terminated on November 12.
