‘Bridgerton’ Season 2 Is Officially Happening

Bridgerton season two is officially happening, Netflix confirmed on Wednesday, January 21. “Prepare for another social season! @Bridgerton shall be back for Season 2,” the streaming platform posted to Twitter. 

Bridgerton has been a massive hit for Netflix. The series, based on Julia Quinn’s popular novel series, centers on the affluent Bridgerton siblings in Regency-era London as they try to find love and marriage. Each novel centers on a different Bridgerton sibling. Book one was all about Daphne (Phoebe Dynevor), who pretends to date Simon, Duke of Hastings (Regé-Jean Page), and winds up actually falling in love with him. If the show follows the books, season two will follow Anthony Bridgerton’s (Jonathan Bailey) romance adventures.
