Meanwhile, in a year of political upheaval, ‘politician’ was the second most influential profession. All in all there were six politicians from around the world on our list, with Trump, Modi, and Obama appearing in the top 10.

Age, wisdom, and influence

There is a massive age range in this list, from Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus (26 and 27 years old, respectively) up to 74-year-old President Trump and 72-year-old Hilary Clinton. All together, the average age is 42.5.

For the men in the list, the average age is 43.7. (We didn’t count Mac Miller, who is deceased). For the women in the list, the average age is 40.8.

Compared to last year, there has been little to no change in average ages. The average female age remained the same (despite the movers and shakers) while the average age of men on the list increased by 1.4 years.
