Blake Lively Let Her Daughter Dress Her Like a Barbie—And the Result Is Iconic

If I could play dress-up in any celebrity’s closet, it would probably be Blake Lively’s. And for Lively’s three lucky daughters—Inez, Betty, and James—that dream is actually reality. Just this morning (July 7), Inez got to put her mom in an all-pink outfit perfect for…well, none of Lively’s typically-chic characters, but it’s definitely a look.

Lively posted about the fun mother-daughter time on Instagram Stories, sharing a mirror selfie video in which she’s dressed in heels, a pink and white dress, and a colorful sweatshirt. She added a rainbow filter, the song “Barbie Girl” by Aqua, and captioned the clip, “When you try to get your 4 year old dressed but they insist on dressing you instead…at 5am.” So cute.

Behind her, you can see Lively’s impressive shoe collection. Whomst must we bribe to get a full closet tour?

Blake Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, don’t typically share much of their home life via social media, but the Deadpool star recently opened up about how fatherhood inspired him to be more candid about mental health. He shared in June, “I have three daughters at home, and part of my job as a parent is to model behaviors and model what it’s like to be sad and model what it’s like to be anxious, or angry. That there’s space for all these things…I know that when I felt at the absolute bottom, it’s usually been because I felt like I was alone in something I was feeling. So I think when people talk about [mental health], I don’t necessarily dwell on it or lament on it, but I think it’s important to talk about it. And when you talk about it, it kind of sets other people free.”

And they’re not the only parents who let their girls get creative. Channing Tatum recently let his daughter, Everly, put makeup on him…blindfolded. Do these celebrities babysit? Because we’d like to hire.
