Anya Taylor-Joy Wore a Metallic Gold Gown With a Plunging Neckline to Her Movie Premiere

Anya Taylor-Joy looked stunning at the Los Angeles premiere of her movie Last Night in Soho on Monday, October 25. 

For the event, the 25-year-old actor opted for a metallic gold dress with a plunging neckline. She styled her waist-length blonde hair in loose waves that fell down one of her shoulders. And for jewelry, she wore an emerald green necklace. The result? A bold, shimmery look that still feels undeniably chic. Check it out for yourself, below. 

Last Night in Soho hits theaters nationwide on Friday, October 29. Here is the movie’s synopsis, per a press email: “In acclaimed director Edgar Wright’s psychological thriller, Eloise, an aspiring fashion designer, is mysteriously able to enter the 1960s where she encounters a dazzling wannabe singer, Sandie. But the glamour is not all it appears to be and the dreams of the past start to crack and splinter into something far darker.” I’m already scared (and booking my ticket).

“I met Edgar for the first time straight after The Witch, and that was the first time that he told me about Last Night in Soho,” Anya Taylor-Joy told Entertainment Weekly in late October about the movie. “So, we’ve been talking about this project for years. I’d only done two films at that point and only one of them was out. He had me cast [in Thomasin McKenzie’s role of Eloise] as the audience’s viewpoint, and then Edgar and I thought it would be more fun to be the slightly audacious type [as Sandie]. Edgar is a huge film buff and he definitely loves the horror genre and he wanted to pay homage to that. But I do think the very nature of the story that we’re telling, it’s so in the characters’ heads, and you really invest in Thomasin’s character. You get engulfed into her literal dreams.”
