Angelina Jolie Is the Epitome of a Movie Star in This Shimmery Strapless Versace Gown

Angelina Jolie did not have to serve some of the best looks in her red-carpet history while promoting Eternals, but that’s exactly what she’s doing.

At the Eternals premiere for the 16th Rome Film Festival on Sunday, October 24, Jolie continued her red-carpet streak in Atelier Versace. The strapless gown is sleek and silver, made of the metal mesh fabric created by Gianni Versace in the 1980s. The fabric makes the gown look almost liquid, like it was poured onto Jolie’s body. The overall look is modern Hollywood glamour fit for a goddess from outer space, which she basically plays in the movie.

Angelina Jolie styled the gown effortlessly, as usual. She wore her hair down, straight, parted in the middle, and tucked behind her ears. She accessorized with large silver earrings by Vhernier that make the gown stand out even more. And for makeup, Jolie opted for a minimal look: a subtle smoky eye and a natural light pink lip. She didn’t carrie a purse or clutch (not on the carpet, at least). 

Jolie attended the Rome premiere of Eternals with her children Zahara and Shiloh. For the Eternals premiere in Los Angeles on October 18, Jolie lent her 2014 Oscar dress to her daughter Zahara. At that outing, she brought five of her children: Maddox, Vivienne, Knox, Shiloh, and Zahara. (The only one missing was son Pax.) 

In 2019, Jolie told People that she’s excited for her children to see her portray such a strong character in Eternals. “What’s really moving to me is that they want to see me strong, and so it’s less to see me in a film, but they’re just happy I will be strong and having fun,” she said.
