Adam Levine Just Debuted a Face Tattoo

Maybe he ran out of room on his chest and arms? Heavily tattooed Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine just debuted his latest ink in a spot that’s pretty hard to miss: his face. Appearing at an Art Basel event in Miami with his wife, model Behati Prinsloo, Levine showed off a new body art design: a black long-stemmed rose along the left side of his face.

Over the years, the Voice coach has amassed a collection of tattoos that rivals Pete Davidson’s. His chest, arms, stomach, and even neck are covered in designs. So perhaps this isn’t that surprising. Still, a face tat is on another level, and we can’t wait to hear the story and meaning behind this bold addition.

He’s hardly the only celebrity to make this leap in recent years. Bieber got a tiny cross by his eye in 2016, though he’s since had it removed or covered it with makeup. If you’re thinking at all about adding something permanent to your face, maybe start small? Tiny tattoos are super popular in Hollywood and beyond, and there are a ton of pretty designs that hopefully you won’t get sick of– and will be easy enough to cover if you do.

Last time Levine got tatted, he proudly displayed the art on his grid, writing, “Wise man once said…’when Instagram goes down…tattoo your throat…’”under a picture of his butterfly-in-a-spider-web neck tat. Will the rose get a similar roll-out?

Though his hair hasn’t moved in, we wanna say, a decade, Levine isn’t afraid to experiment with other parts of his look. He rocked a dress in April for a playdate with his wife and daughters. “girls just wanna have fun 💅🏻” he wrote on Instagram, matching with his little girl.
