A-Rod Posted a Cryptic Instagram the Day J.Lo and Ben Affleck Were Spotted in Miami

Is Alex Rodriguez ready to move on after his breakup from Jennifer Lopez? It certainly seems like it based on his recent Instagram activity.

The former New York Yankee and the multi-talented Hustlers star called off their engagement earlier this year after a four-year relationship. Lopez has since been linked to her former fiancé, Ben Affleck. On May 23, Affleck and Lopez were photographed together in Miami  looking ridiculously happy amid reports things are going well. And that same day, Rodriguez took to Instagram to post about…his life.

“I am about to step into a new beginning in my life. Anything that doesn’t serve me is clearing out of my life. New levels are unlocking for me mentally, physically, and spiritually. I am remaining patient and know that this new phase of my life is coming,” he wrote in white text over a black background.

Now, the timing here seems to indicate Rodriguez posted his Instagram Story before those J.Lo/Affleck photos were made public, but that doesn’t mean the two aren’t related. 

Affleck and Lopez have remained mum about their reunion, but sources have been spilling alleged details. One source tells E! Online, “She wants to give it a shot with Ben. They never really had closure and she has always wondered what could have been. The timing was never right and they were in different places until now.”

“We have realized we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so,” Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez said in a joint statement to Today announcing their breakup. “We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects. We wish the best for each other and one another’s children. Out of respect for them, the only other comment we have to say is thank you to everyone who has sent kind words and support.”
