Us Kids: An official description for this documentary reads, “Us Kids chronicles the March for Our Lives movement over the course of several years, following Emma Gonzalez, its cofounders, survivors, and a group of teenage activists as they pull off the largest youth protest in American history and set out across the country and globally to build an inclusive and unprecedented youth movement that addresses racial justice, a growing public health crisis, and shocking a political system into change.”

Director Kim A. Snyder tells Glamour about the doc, “For older audiences, I’m hoping they interpret the film as intended—a coming-of-age story with underlying themes of trauma against the backdrop of the unacceptable public health crisis of gun violence in this country. I’d like people to see this as an important historic documentation of a phenomenal youth-led social movement that leaves one questioning our complacency and ability to become more civically engaged.” Available on demand.
