After months of keeping things low-key, Zendaya and her boyfriend (and Spider-Man co-star) Tom Holland are hitting this whole celebrity relationship thing hard. Not “gushy PDA and tons of Instagram pics” hard, but matching outfits on a date night hard. No, not even matching. Co-ordinated.

The Euphoria and Uncharted stars attended a New York Rangers hockey game together in New York City on Thursday, February 17, in personalized Rangers jerseys: Holland’s had “Zendaya” on the back, while Zendaya’s was emblazoned with “Holland.” Yes, Zendaya does have a last name, it’s Coleman, but she doesn’t use it, so why would he?

Check out the pictures—and Z’s beautiful blow-out—here. There’s also another sweet detail on the jerseys some fans may have missed. The number “96,” which is featured on both jerseys, likely refers to the year Holland and Zendaya were born. 

BTW, Zendaya’s Euphoria co-star Hunter Schafer also came with them, and also wore a jersey! It looks like Schafer’s jersey had her first name on the back, as well as the number “98” for her birth year. Schafer’s own rumored boyfriend and co-star, Dominic Fike, was not in attendance.

The adorable moment led Zendaya and Tom Holland to trend on Twitter once again. The fans are supportive of this cuteness, to say the least. One posted a clip from Euphoria, joking that it’s not the first time Schafer has been seen as the “third wheel.”

Zendaya and Tom Holland kept their relationship private for a long time, but now they’re holding hands in public. A turn of events we are certainly not complaining about.

On the evening of Wednesday, February 16, Zendaya and Holland were spotted leaving the Crosby Street Hotel in Lower Manhattan on their way to a screening of Holland’s new action flick Uncharted, in which he stars opposite Mark Wahlberg. They walked out of the hotel holding hands, showing off not only their adorable relationship but fabulous ’fits as well. 

For the outing, style icon Zendaya wore an easy and effortless oversized black shirt dress that was cinched at the waist with a belt. She paired the shirt dress with super-sheer black tights, pointed-toe Christian Louboutin heels, and a black face mask. Zendaya wore her auburn hair down with soft waves and a lot of volume. It’s the bounce blowout that you’ve been seeing all over your feed lately.

At the start of season two alone, Alexa Demie’s character had fans sprinting to Google to find the cutout minidress she paired with Amina Muaddi heels. Turns out the dress is from indie label Akna, which has sadly been sold out since the episode’s debut. (Variety reported that a mix of brands like I.Am.Gia, Dion Lee, Jacquemus, and Balenciaga are also featured in season two.) You can always count on Maddy to stand out, though, whether it’s with a flared matching set or a deconstructed tank top held together by blinged-out safety pins. (A fun DIY project, BTW.) Her accessories game is also always on point—and she rarely leaves the house without her signature nameplate necklace or chunky gold hoops. Bottom line: Maddy inspires us to channel our inner baddie.

Zendaya loves Rue Bennett, and so should you. 

The Euphoria front-woman shared a touching note ahead of the season’s episode 5 climax, expected to be one of the most emotional in the season, in which viewers see Bennett struggle with opioid withdrawals and an intervention, reflecting America’s growing crisis among drug users.

The 25-year-old actor, who won a primetime Emmy award for her portrayal of Bennet in season 1, wrote on Instagram that her character “hits rock bottom,” in the show, but even more so in the second season. Despite this, Zendaya wrote that Rue is a character that should be loved and sympathized with—leading viewers to have a “greater understanding of the pain” that those struggling with addiction face, and that their “redemption is possible.”

“I care about her deeply. I also care about the people who care about her, because I think many of them share her story of addiction and sobriety, and many of them share a lot of emotional disorders, and I think it’s important that we continue to have that love for her,” the star shared on Instagram.

Zendaya, who has played beloved characters in the past with other projects, went on to add, “I think it’s important that we have characters that are flawed. And remember that we are not the worst mistake we’ve ever made.”

This isn’t the first time Zendaya has opened up about the emotional and mature journey she portrays as the high-school age Bennet, famously advising viewers about the potentially triggering subject matters discussed in a pre-premiere post, writing that she can still feel fans support even if they don’t chose to watch: “Take care of yourself and know that either way you are still loved.”

Never thought we’d say we saw Zendaya selling sea shells down by the seashore, but here we are!

In her first ever Super Bowl ad, the Euphoria star will twirl in a gown that can only be described as Aquata Chic. (What? You don’t remember King Triton’s other daughters?) The bejeweled turquoise dress is total sea goddess vibes and accented with shells on the bodice—not exactly the most water-friendly outfit for a day at the beach, but we’ll let it go for fashion reasons. We fully expect mermaid-inspired styles to start selling out after this commercial hits the airwaves.

This isn’t the first Super Bowl spot for Squarespace—it’s the company’s eighth time airing a commercial during the big event. They’ve previously enlisted A-listers like Dolly Parton, Winona Ryder, and Keanu Reeves, so Zendaya’s in very good company with this, er, company.

Zendaya is already on track to be one of the best-dressed celebs of 2022, just like the youngest-ever CFDA Fashion Icon was in 2021. Zendaya and her stylist Law Roach can clearly do no wrong.

On Wednesday, January 5, the Emmy winner attended a photo call in Los Angeles for the upcoming second season of Euphoria, wearing vintage Valentino from the early ’90s. I am so sorry to deliver the news that the 1990s are considered vintage now. 

The striking striped gown from Valentino’s spring-summer 1992 line was originally worn on the runway by supermodel Linda Evangelista. Zendaya would not be born until 1996, four years after this dress was made. 

The black-and-white striped dress is strapless with a scalloped neckline. It has a mermaid fit, hugging the body until it cascades slightly at the bottom. Zendaya styled the gown simply with silver drop earrings. She wore her hair red (just like Evangelista’s) and in a glamorous parted updo with some hair swept to the side, which emphasizes the unique scalloped neckline. Zendaya also kept her makeup relatively simple, with a subtle silver smoky eye, rosy cheeks, and a nude orange-toned glossy lip.

In a December 2021 interview with Colman Domingo for Interview magazine, Zendaya talked about her desires for young people who watch Euphoria, explaining that she hopes they can look beyond the iconic makeup and hoodies. 

“My hope is that the show makes somebody who has either gone through addiction, or knows somebody who has, feel they are less alone in their experiences, and that maybe it gives somebody the lexicon to communicate with their loved one who needs help, or it gives the ability for that loved one to say, ‘Listen, this is how I feel. I couldn’t explain it to you, but just watch this and you’ll understand where I’m coming from,’” she said. “Because the cool thing about Rue is, she makes bad decisions and she hurts a lot of people, but we still love her and we still root for her, and that’s a feeling that I hope people will take on with their own loved ones or other people suffering from addiction.”

The second season of HBO’s Euphoria premieres on Sunday, January 9. 

It looks like Zendaya and Tom Holland were specifically asked not to fall for each other before filming their first Spider-Man movie.

In a new interview with the New York Times, Amy Pascal—the former Sony movie exec behind the first five Spider-Man movies, as well as a producer on the last three Holland-helmed films—gave the costars the same advice she once gave Garfield and his now ex-girlfriend/costar Emma Stone. 

In case you don’t know, Tobey Maguire dated Kirsten Dunst, the Mary Jane to his Peter Parker, while filming Spider-Man (2002) together. The pair broke things off ahead of the second film, according to director Sam Raimi. Since then, it’s become somewhat of a tradition for the Spider-Man romantic leads to make life imitate art. Andrew Garfield began dating his costar Emma Stone while filming The Amazing Spider-Man in 2011. They didn’t split until 2015. (Here is where I argue that Adam Brody and Rachel Bilson also fit the bill.)

Pascal was hoping to break the pattern when it came to Holland and Zendaya. “I took Tom and Zendaya aside, separately, when we first cast them and gave them a lecture: ‘Don’t go there — just don’t. Try not to,'” she told the NYT. “I gave the same advice to Andrew and Emma. It can just complicate things, you know? And they all ignored me.”

Ignored her, indeed. The alleged couple met on the set of Spider-Man back in 2016 and hit it off right away. While fans have been speculating about the nature of their relationship for years, reports of their relationship were seemingly confirmed when photos of them kissing went viral in July 2021. 

Still, neither Zendaya nor Holland have officially confirmed their relationship. “I’ve always been really adamant to keep my private life private because I share so much of my life with the world anyway,” Holland told GQ in November. “We sort of felt robbed of our privacy. I don’t think it’s about not being ready—it’s just that we didn’t want to [talk about it].”

He added, “This isn’t my story; it’s our story. And we’ll talk about what it is when we’re ready to talk about it together.”

However, that hasn’t stopped the pair from showing off their affection towards one another during their latest press tour. Holland has called Zendaya “beautiful” during red carpet interviews, while the Dune star described him as “my Spider-Man” in an Instagram post. Most recently, Zendaya referred to Holland as “sweetheart” when he mispronounced the word “quizzes” as “quizzies” in an adorable Buzzfeed video.

Yeah, it looks like the tradition has lived on.

In a new video posted by Buzzfeed on December 17, Zendaya called her rumored boyfriend “sweetheart” while they played the publication’s Spider-Man: No Way Home quiz with their fellow costar Jacob Batalon. Towards the end of the five-minute video, the group catches a bit of the giggles, which only gets worse when Holland decides he’d like to play a few more “quizzies.”

“Quizzies? Quizzes,” Zendaya corrects with a laugh, laying her head on his shoulder. “Aw, sweetheart… Quizzies!”

Still laughing, Holland responds, “I’m never going on Buzzfeed ever again.”

Of course, fans of the pair—many of whom have suspected a relationship between the pair for years—were thrilled by the interaction. “When she called him sweetheart ?,” one TikTok user wrote in the comments. That reply alone received over seven thousand likes.  Another wrote, “He’s just high on the fact that he’s finally dating Zendaya.”

While it’s quite clear Zendaya has been stealing the show during their press run, despite Holland playing the film’s titular role, she’s found plenty of opportunities to support Holland. On December 15, the Dune star shared two photos of Holland dressed as Spider-Man: as an adult and one from when he was a child. “My Spider-Man, I’m so proud of you,” she wrote in the caption. “Some things never change and good thing .”

During a London photo call on December 5, Holland opened up about how his costar has helped him adjust to the fame brought on by leading a Marvel franchise. “Two friends coming together, experiencing this world, going through the same problems at the same time, having a shoulder to cry on, has been a huge thing for the pair of us, and with Jacob [Batalon] as well,” he said in an interview, per BuzzFeed. “We really are a family.” 

Zendaya later added, “Sometimes you just have to be a person to vent to, someone to just be there and listen…. I was lucky enough where my life didn’t change overnight. I started when I was young, so it was kind of like a slow progression. I kind of got to learn it as I went and figure it out and get my footing a little bit, whereas for him it was so much all at once. I have an extreme amount of empathy for that, so anything that I learned or have learned or continue to learn, I share with him, and anything he learns he shares with me.”
