Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez‘s reunion is for the best, according to insiders who spoke to People. A new source says the exes are spending time together because they’re both newly single. In case you need to catch up: Lopez split from her former fiancé, Alex Rodriguez, in April, and Affleck broke up Ana de Armas earlier this year.

“Ben and Jennifer were in the same mindset after their breakups,” a Latin music source tells People. “Whether they end up together or not, it’s good for both of them now. And not that surprising.”

Affleck and De Armas seemingly met on set in New Orleans while costarring in the film Deep Water back in 2019. Romance rumors started after they were spotted together in Cuba in March 2020. They reportedly had an amicable breakup almost a year later.

However, Lopez’s split from Rodriguez wasn’t as simple. Rumors that the former power couple was calling off their engagement began in early March. They initially denied the reports, saying, “We are working through some things,” per People. A source at the time said, “They never officially broke up and talked about it but are still together. They hit a rough patch. But were not broken up.” Later, they released a joint statement explaining that they had split.

“We have realized we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so,” the couple said in to Today on April 15. “We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects. We wish the best for each other and one another’s children. Out of respect for them, the only other comment we have to say is thank you to everyone who has sent kind words and support.” 

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are single at the same time, but does that mean Bennifer is back on? Well, they did recently take a trip to Montana together. “She had a great time with Ben,” a source told People about their getaway. “She is happy with him and enjoys spending time with him.” A separate insider also told People, “[Jennifer] spent several days with Ben out of town. They have a strong connection. It’s all been quick and intense, but Jennifer is happy.” 

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker’s relationship is heating up quickly. The couple continues to display PDA on Instagram—this time, it’s from their getaway trip to Utah’s Amangiri resort. Kardashian recently shared a pic of herself in Barker’s arms while wearing a string bikini. 

She captioned the photo of them kissing, “Just Like Heaven,” and the Blink-182 drummer commented, “EVERYTHING.” The caption is seemingly a reference to The Cure’s popular track. 

“I’m feeling a huge urge for a new bikini and a new tattoo??,” one follower wrote. Another commented, “If ‘living my best life without caring about wtf others think’ was a couple.”

The musician and reality star also posted photos to their respective Instagram Stories of them playing Banana Grams. Obviously, the words stayed on theme with the romantic trip and were racy, as well. Barker shared a variety of word variations, including “orgasm.” Meanwhile, Kardashian stuck to words like “vegan,” “girl,” and “raw.” 

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker made their relationship Instagram official on February 17, and they haven’t been shy about sharing sweet moments of their relationship ever since. Most recently, Barker declared his love for Kardashian for her birthday on April 18. “I FUCKING LOVE YOU! ? YOU’RE A BLESSING TO THIS WORLD. HAPPY BIRTHDAY @kourtneykardashian,” he captioned a carousel of photos and videos, including some raunchy ones, naturally.

“Kourtney and Travis have had a platonic relationship for years and they’ve been friends and family friends for a very long time, but recently something sparked and their relationship has turned romantic,” a source told Entertainment Tonight in January. “Things are super easy between them because they know each other so well and just click and get one another. Her kids and his kids get along so well too, which is a major plus for both of them.”

Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez have reportedly split, according to People. This is shocking news, to say the least. Below, take a look back at their history, which started in 2005…when they first met. 

May 2005: The two first meet at a baseball game at Shea Stadium in Queens, New York, in 2005. Lopez is still married to Marc Anthony, but she stops to shake Rodriguez’s hand before the first pitch.

March 2017: Fast-forward almost 12 years. “They have been dating for a few weeks,” a source tells People in March. “[Alex] has been around her family, and [Jennifer] really likes that he is a dad. She is aware, though, that he is a ladies’ man too and is being cautious. For now, it’s just fun. She is single and enjoys dating.”

Later on that month, Rodriguez confirms their relationship on The View. “It’s obvious, we’ve been having a great time,” he says. “She’s an amazing girl and one of the smartest human beings I’ve ever met and also an incredible mother.”

Then, just hours after his interview, Lopez and Rodriguez are spotted in public together for the first time.

Lucy Hale and Skeet Ulrich’s rumored new relationship is raising some eyebrows, but they’re reportedly not bothered. In fact, Us Weekly reports the two have “fallen hard” for each other. 

“Lucy and Skeet have been dating for a little over a month now. While it’s very new, they spend a lot of time together,” a source says.

The source explains that although they “have a huge age gap, it doesn’t bother them. They are both kind and have a funny, but have dark sense of humor.” (Hale is 31; Ulrich is 51.) 

Hale and Ulrich met through working in the Archie Comics universe, Us Weekly reports. The Pretty Little Liars alum previously played the titular character in Katy Keene before its cancellation, and the Scream actor was a main character on Riverdale before he left the series after season four. In 2020, Hale appeared on the crossover Riverdale episode, Chapter Sixty-Nine: Men of Honor.

Lucy Hale and Skeet Ulrich’s dating rumors started when they were spotted in February seemingly on a lunch date together in Los Angeles. They were also photographed kissing and holding hands. “They arrived in his car and walked to the restaurant with his arm around her shoulders,” a source told People on February 23. “They waited about 10 minutes for a table during which time she had her arm wrapped around him. After eating he reached over and kissed her twice before getting up and walking to his car. He opened the door for her. They were super into one another. PDA from when they arrived until when they left.”

If the dating rumors are true, we hope these Hale and Ulrich are happy!

If it seems like Aaron Rodgers and Shailene Woodley’s relationship went from zero to 100, that’s because it reportedly did. In early February, we learned the new couple is apparently engaged, surprising both fans of the Green Bay Packers quarterback and the Big Little Lies star.  It appears the people close to Rodgers and Woodley are just as shocked, too, if sources are to be believed.

“It was a surprise that they got so close so quickly,” a source close to Rodgers told People. “I mean, it really felt like one day he was with Danica Patrick, and then suddenly he was with Shailene. It happened super fast.” 

Rodgers dated Patrick for two years before breaking up in July 2020. Meanwhile, Woodley told the New York Times last April she had recently split from her boyfriend, rugby player Ben Volavola, after being together for more than two years. 

“I’ve chosen to be single for a while. The idea of being with someone… is it only because you’ve fallen in love with that person, or because there’s a newness to understanding yourself because of what that person can offer you?” Woodley said in the Times interview. Since she and Rodgers reportedly started dating, fell in love, and got engaged within a seven(ish) month timespan, it appears she didn’t stay single for long. 

The insider also tells People that Aaron Rodgers and Shailene Woodley’s relationship was “so fast that at first” friends thought it “was just a rebound.” The source explains, “There was no way this could be so serious. Everyone thought it was a casual thing because that’s what he was telling everyone, even when it was clearly not a casual thing.”

“Now we realize that it was clearly a lot more serious than they told anyone,” the source added. “All this goes to show that this must be a very special relationship for him and for her. So everyone wishes them happiness.”
