Hold on to your seats, please, because Angelina Jolie and The Weeknd might actually be a thing.

Throughout the past few months, we’ve seen celeb couples come and go. First, Ben Affleck trotted around Los Angeles hand in hand with Ana de Armas. Then they broke up, and soon after Jennifer Lopez ended her engagement with Alex Rodriguez. Currently, Affleck and Lopez are traveling the globe like it’s 2002. And don’t even get us started on Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker. 

Now the celebrity gods have maybe blessed us with another new couple. Recently Angelina Jolie has been spotted around Los Angeles with The Weeknd, a.k.a. Abel Tesfaye. According to an anonymous source who spoke to Us Weekly, Jolie “lights up” when she talks about the musician. No word on whether the lights are blinding, though (sorry).  

In July, Jolie and The Weeknd were photographed leaving a Los Angeles restaurant, prompting relationship speculation. Things intensified when they were seen months later at the same place. For now, though, it looks like they’re just friends. 

That being said, here’s what a source told Us Weekly: “Both Angie and Abel are telling people that they are just friends, but those who know them think something romantic is going on.”

The insider added, “Friends believe things could turn romantic,” but they also said Jolie “is playing down talk of anything serious.” So it looks like we’ll have to wait and see on this one. 

The source also told Us Weekly Jolie is “definitely warming toward Abel. He’s been pouring on the charm and going out of his way to impress her.”

Jolie finalized her divorce from ex Brad Pitt in 2019. The Weeknd, like Jolie, is no stranger to very public romances; he’s dated both Bella Hadid and Selena Gomez.

If true—and we must emphasize again this alleged romance is merely a rumor and speculation—Angelina Jolie and The Weeknd would make the hottest celeb couple ever. Kourtney and Travis would be dethroned!

Lily-Rose Depp, 22, and Austin Butler, 29, have found themselves in the center of the rumor mill with suggestions that the two actors could be a new couple. 

On August 9, the Mail Online published a series of photos that show the pair packing on the PDA in the streets of London after reportedly enjoying dinner together. The pictures show Depp and Butler hugging and kissing on the sidewalk, which has led many to believe the two are a new romantic item.

As you might know, Depp was previously romantically linked to British model Ash Stymest; the pair dated for a few years before parting ways. It was reported that she later dated fellow actor Timothée Chalamet in 2018. The pair are believed to have met while filming The King and called it quits sometime in 2020—though neither officially addressed the relationship during the period they were together. Earlier this year, rumors started circulating about the pair potentially rekindling their relationship.

Butler, on the other hand, dated High School Musical actor Vanessa Hudgens from 2011 until 2019. In January 2020 it was reported that the pair had split.

Both Austin Butler and Lily-Rose Depp have a busy schedule ahead. Butler is currently filming his starring role in Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis Presley biopic, as well as a TV mini series called Masters of the Air. Depp, meanwhile, has two movies set for release this year—Silent Night (starring Keira Knightley) and the drama Wolf.

While both Depp and Butler have active social media accounts, the pair are quite reserved when it comes to their personal lives. They are also yet to publicly address the nature of their relationship, so until they do, it’s best to take everything with a grain of salt.

I did not see this one coming. Kanye West, who’s in the process of divorcing Kim Kardashian, is reportedly seeing supermodel Irina Shayk. While Kardashian was posting a sweet tribute to him on Instagram for his birthday, West was in France with his new beau, according to witnesses. 

Per TMZ, Kanye West and Irina Shayk were spotted on June 8 walking together around a luxury boutique hotel, and they reportedly looked like an item. The outlet’s source claims the relationship is definitely romantic but not necessarily serious. The article also points out that Shayk has modeled in a Yeezy show and that she’s name-checked in his song “Christian Dior Denim Flow.” She even appeared in the music video for West’s 2020 song “Power,” staring down the camera.

(FWIW, this news has been circulating on a few gossip sites for a couple weeks now, and it’s already been added to Shayk’s Wikipedia. Which anyone can edit.)

If things do get serious, though, Shayk might want to watch the final season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians for some info on West’s recent breakup. In the latest episode, we see Kardashian cry and say, “[West] deserves someone that can go support his every move and go follow him all over the place and move to Wyoming. I can’t do that…. I feel like a fucking failure that it’s, like, a third fucking marriage. I feel like a fucking loser. But I can’t even think about that. I want to be happy.” News of their split first broke in early 2021. 

Shayk has no other marriages in her own past, but she was previously with soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo and then actor Bradley Cooper, with whom she shares a daughter.

No Jen-on-Jen rivalry here. As Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez continue to see more and more of each other, Affleck’s ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, is reportedly just fine with it. And according to sources, the feeling is mutual.

“J. Lo has Jennifer Garner’s seal of approval,” an insider tells Us Weekly, adding that the two actors have crossed paths over the course of their decades in Hollywood. “J. Lo thinks Jennifer is a kind and wonderful person and an amazing mother.” Well, yeah, duh, everyone feels that way about Jennifer Garner. She’s mom pals with Dr. Jill Freakin’ Biden, after all.

Garner was Affleck’s next major relationship after he and Lopez called off their engagement in the aughts; the two were married for 10 years and share three children. Lopez, meanwhile, wed and had children with Marc Anthony before they split. 

It seems Garner’s been chill about the rekindled relationship from the beginning. Back in May, when Affleck and Lopez’s reunion first looked like it was real, a source revealed to Entertainment Tonight that “Jen isn’t bothered by Ben hanging out with J.Lo or anyone else. She wants what is best for Ben.” This was in the wake of Affleck’s split from Ana de Armas and Lopez’s split from fiancé Alex Rodriguez. At the time, the source said, “What matters most to her is Ben being a great dad…. They’ve been in a good groove when it comes to coparenting for a while, and their kids’ happiness is Jen’s main priority.”

Around the same time, it was reported that Garner might be rekindling a romance of her own with boyfriend John Miller, CEO of restaurant chain Caliburger.

Good thing everyone’s allegedly getting along, because Lopez is reportedly looking at property and schools in Los Angeles so she can live closer to Affleck. Double date at Caliburger, anyone?

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s newborn daughter’s name has, naturally, been making headlines since it was revealed June 6. The couple recently announced the birth of their second child, Lilibet “Lili” Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, who was born on Friday, June 4. That name honors Queen Elizabeth II and the late Princess Diana: Lilibet is a family nickname for the queen, and Lili’s middle name is a tribute to Prince Harry’s mom, who passed away in 1997.

A recent BBC report alleged that the Sussexes didn’t consult the queen about their plan to name their daughter after her. This news came from a source within Buckingham Palace but was quickly disputed in a statement.

“The Duke spoke with his family in advance of the announcement, in fact his grandmother was the first family member he called,” a spokesperson for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex told People in a statement. “During that conversation, he shared their hope of naming their daughter Lilibet in her honor. Had she not been supportive, they would not have used the name.”

The news of Lili’s birth was released in a statement on June 6. “Lili was born on Friday, June 4, at 11:40 a.m. in the trusted care of the doctors and staff at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara, CA,” that birth announcement read, per People. “She weighed 7 lb. 11 oz. Both mother and child are healthy and well, and settling in at home. Lili is named after her great-grandmother, Her Majesty The Queen, whose family nickname is Lilibet. Her middle name, Diana, was chosen to honor her beloved late grandmother, The Princess of Wales.”

That statement concluded, “This is the second child for the couple, who also have a two-year-old son named Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor. The Duke and Duchess thank you for your warm wishes and prayers as they enjoy this special time as a family.”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle shared their own statement as well on the Archewell website, writing, “On June 4th, we were blessed with the arrival of our daughter, Lili. She is more than we could have ever imagined, and we remain grateful for the love and prayers we’ve felt from across the globe. Thank you for your continued kindness and support during this very special time for our family.”

Congrats to the new family of four!

The fifth and final season of Freeform’s hit series The Bold Type premieres Wednesday, May 26, and it’s been a highly entertaining ride. Centered on three young women trying to make it in the fashion and media industries—Jane (Katie Stevens), Sutton (Meghann Fahy), and Kat (Aisha Dee)—the show is tailor-made for Gossip Girl and Devil Wears Prada fans. It’s chock-full of style, soapy drama, and sexy people—in other words, all the makings of a hit show. No wonder it’s lasted for so long. 

Even still, Stevens is blown away by the show’s popularity. “When you get to five seasons, that in itself is so special,” she tells me over the phone in early May. “Not many shows get five seasons. The bond that we’ve created—not only among myself, Meghann, and Aisha—but our crew and the writers and everybody who works on the show, is just the best. They’re some of the best people I’ve ever met. I think we caught lightning in a bottle in terms of the connection we all formed.” 

Fans have formed connections with the characters, as well, particularly Jane, Sutton, and Kat. Stevens tells me she thinks viewers will be satisfied with where the show leaves these women, both professionally and personally. “At the end of the day, I think everybody’s going to be happy,” she says. “I’m really happy with where the girls end up. I think they end up exactly where they should be.” 

Wherever Jane ends up, though, she’ll be without two pairs of her favorite shoes. That’s because Stevens nabbed them from the Bold Type closet—which, relatable. She revealed this during Glamour‘s latest installment of Your Fave’s Faves. The last thing I bought 

I bought six bathing suits because I’m going to Mexico. They’re from Somerfield Swim and also from Emily Ratajkowski’s line, Inamorata. One of my new favorite bikinis is from there. It’s ruched in the chest and has these little skimpy bottoms because I gotta get my tan on. 

My favorite pair of shoes right now 

I’m normally in sneakers if I’m not going anywhere, but I did get a bunch of shoes from Jane’s closet in The Bold Type. I have two favorite pairs: Christian Louboutin black combat boots that have a little heel, and a cute Valentino pump. I’m just looking for somewhere to wear them now. I’ll wear them around the house if I have to! 

The sweatpants I’ve lived in these past few months 

I have five drawers of sweatpants! I have a pair of pastel tie-dye sweats from Max Roux. They’re super comfortable. Also, these Tribe Kelley Butter Sweats. They’re the softest, most comfortable sweats I’ve ever put on my body. 

My go-to pair of jeans

They’re called the Ex-Boyfriend Jeans from Denim Forum. Those are great because they’re tight where they’re supposed to be but loose where they’re supposed to be. I have two pairs: one with holes and one without. 

My favorite product in my self-care routine 

I actually got one of those things—it looks like a sleeping bag, but it’s an infrared sauna blanket-bed. You open it up, and you have to get in it with socks, long pants, a long shirt, and you set a timer. I literally just lay in there and sweat. The feeling you get from sweating for 40 minutes—you watch Netflix, the time passes—is euphoric. I work out too, but there’s something very spa-like about having this thing in my house. I got it from this place called HigherDOSE. 

The fragrance that makes me feel amazing

Miss Dior, which is classic, but there’s also a roll-on fragrance from Nest called Indigo. It’s so lovely. 

The beauty product that completes my going-out look

The quicker I can do my makeup and look good, the better. I started using Nudestix products, and I love them because the foundation is very lightweight. Then you have these cream blushes and cream contours, and they don’t leave you looking super shiny. So sometimes, I’ll just do that and allow the healthy glow to shine through. I’ve also been using Coco & Eve’s self-tanner. You put it on, it develops over two hours, and you can wash it off to have a healthy glow. It’s the only self-tanner I’ve ever used that’s not orange and doesn’t come off splotchy. 

The TV shows I’m currently obsessed with 

I’m late in the game, but I just started watching The Flight Attendant. I’m obsessed! It’s so good. I’m always into those thought-provoking, thriller-y kind of shows; The Flight Attendant is that, plus there’s a comedic aspect. Kaley Cuoco is amazing in it. 

The snacks I’m getting when I go to a movie theater again

First of all, my own individual popcorn because I will not be sharing my first time back. I’ve gone through so many movie candy phases. I used to get Milk Duds because that was my dad’s thing, then that changed to Cookie Dough Bites. Also, if you’re at a place that has Dibs ice cream bites, that’s a game-changer. And then you have to get a Diet Coke! But the problem is my snacks go fast. I feel like I’m already done with my candy by minute five of the movie.

Did you notice baby Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor in his dad Prince Harry’s new mental health series with Oprah Winfrey, The Me You Can’t See, on Apple TV+? The toddler, son of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, makes a brief but delightful appearance in an episode. In never-before-seen footage, he sits on a swing in the backyard of the family’s Montecito, California, home, playing in the sunshine. See screenshots here. 

Markle, too, makes a brief appearance in the series. In a different scene, she and Prince Harry look at something on his computer together; Markle looks happy with whatever they’re watching and rocks a “raising the future” T-shirt.

In the series, Prince Harry speaks candidly about how becoming a father and husband made him reprioritize his mental health. 

“My father used to say to me when I was younger, ‘Well, it was like that for me, so it’s going to be like that for you,’” he said, per People. “That doesn’t make sense—just because you suffered, that doesn’t mean that your kids have to suffer, in fact quite the opposite. If you suffered, do everything you can to make sure that whatever negative experiences that you had, you can make it right for your kids.” 

“I…had a son, who I would far rather be solely focused on, rather than every time I look in his eyes wondering whether my wife is going to end up like my mother and I’m going to have to look after him myself,” he reveals, adding that this fear is part of what drove him from senior royal life. “That was one of the biggest reasons to leave, feeling trapped, and feeling controlled through fear. Both by the media and by the system itself, which never encouraged the talking about this kind of trauma.”

Emily Blunt is a bonafide movie star—there’s no denying that. Her breakout role as snobby magazine assistant Emily (yes, really) in The Devil Wears Prada cemented her status as one of Hollywood’s up-and-coming stars. In the 15 years since the movie’s release, she’s starred in a number of blockbuster films and is one half of a power couple (thanks to husband John Krasinski). She’s obviously famous, but there are two people in the world who are still clueless about that fact: her daughters, Hazel, and Violet.

“Hazel came home the other day and we were in the kitchen and she goes, ‘Are you famous?'” Blunt tells the Sunday Times in a new interview. “And I’d never heard her… we’ve never said that word in our house. We don’t talk about it.”

The Quiet Place actor continues, “Someone at school had clearly said it. I was like, ‘Um…not really, I don’t think I am. Did someone say that to you, Haze?’ She said, ‘Yeah,’ but then she wouldn’t divulge much more, you know, but it’s weird. It’s weird.”

Emily Blunt and John Krasinski tied the knot in 2010. Despite her and her husband’s massive success in the entertainment industry, she wants her daughters to only see them as “mom and dad.”

She adds, “I don’t want my kids to feel any more important or special or that there’s a glare on them any more than other kids. If they can remain oblivious for the longest time, I’d be thrilled. They don’t even want to see what I do. They don’t even like it when I put on makeup. They don’t like any of it! They just want me to be their mummy.”

When it comes to the girls acting alongside their parents, Blunt says, “God no—no! Please God keep them off the stage.”

Kate Middleton has many talents, but Prince William doesn’t think music production is one of them. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge‘s Instagram account recently shared a video of Middleton attempting to be a DJ, and let’s just say it didn’t go well. 

Hilariously so! The silly video shows the Duchess of Cambridge creating a beat while Prince William jokes about the sound. “Please turn that off. It’s hurting my ears,” he says. Middleton adds, “Sorry for leaving such a terrible song,” before saying, “Delete it, delete it, delete it.”

The IG caption reads, “Can rule out a music career ? Keep up the incredible work Scottish Violence Reduction Unit and please do delete that music.” Even if her music wasn’t the best, Middleton made up for it with her killer ensemble. The Duchess of Cambridge rocked a blue Zara blazer that looked very reminiscent of this Princess Diana look. 

The couple is currently on a tour of Scotland, and in a speech this weekend, Prince William reflected on the country’s significance to him. He said, via People, “Scotland is incredibly important to me and will always have a special place in my heart. I’ve been coming to Scotland since I was a small boy. As I grew up, I saw how my grandmother relishes every minute she spends here. And my father is never happier than when walking among the hills.”

He continued, “In short, Scotland is the source of some of my happiest memories. But also my saddest. I was in Balmoral when I was told that my mother had died. Still in shock, I found sanctuary in the service at Crathie Kirk that very morning. And in the dark days of grief that followed, I found comfort and solace in the Scottish outdoors. As a result, the connection I feel to Scotland will forever run deep.”

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck may have entered the PDA stage of their relationship. If this source who spoke to Entertainment Tonight is accurate, the two were spotted kissing at a Miami gym on Monday, May 24. 

They “shared a kiss in between sets,” the source says, adding the famous duo entered the gym separately but “were not trying to hide their relationship” once inside. 

“They went to do their workouts with separate trainers, but were not trying to hide their relationship by any means. They stayed close to each other while working out and were hugging, being playful together, and shared a kiss in between sets,” the source shares. “It was clear to everyone that they have intense chemistry and were having fun together.”

The former exes have been spending time together in Miami after hanging out in L.A. and vacationing in Montana. People reports Lopez was “all smiles” with the Argo star on May 23rd.

“They have kept in touch every day since their Montana trip,” a source recently told People. “Jennifer is doing well. She seems very happy and excited about her future.”

“Right now they’re going with the flow and making plans to meet up as often as possible, but there’s still some discussing to do before they officially go public,” a source told Us Weekly. This insider added that their trip to the Big Sky resort in Montana gave them some much-needed alone time. “They had a wonderful time there just snuggling up and being together without any pressure,” said the source. 

So, what about their future plans? Well, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are allegedly taking it slow for now, but a source told Us Weekly, “When the time is right and assuming things continue to evolve romantically between them, likely a month or two, they’ll probably go Instagram official or step out hand in hand at a restaurant somewhere.”
