Nicole Kidman Says She Gives Keith Urban Pedicures Sometimes

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban, quietly one of the best A-list couples, apparently spend their pampering time together. In fact, Kidman gives her husband and their two daughters pedicures on the reg.

“[Urban’s] a pretty low-maintenance guy. Sometimes, though, I’ll treat my whole family to a spa day and massage their feet and give them pedicures,” she told InStyle. “[And then] I put my little bed socks on and wake up with the softest feet. The Big Little Lies actor says she doesn’t want her beauty routine to eat up too much of her day. In fact, she does just five minutes in the morning and another five at night. “I’ve got to put my kids to bed and spend time with my husband,” she said. “I’m not going to sit there for an hour pampering myself.”

But that doesn’t mean she can skimp on the essentials–or that her daughters, Sunday and Faith, are allowed to, either. She says of her motherly beauty advice, “I’m like, ‘You need to smell good, look good, take care of your skin, file your nails, and take care of your feet. Do it yourself; it’s your responsibility.’ It’s not just about hygiene; it’s about how they enter the world.”

Self-care is essential, if the last year has taught us anything. “I try to make myself presentable in the morning. It’s so easy not to even bother in quarantine, and I’ve been through periods like that before,” Kidman told InStyle. “I feel better inside when I decide to do my hair and put on a dress— not just my same old sweatpants or jeans.”
