Lilly Singh Is Not a Morning Person—But These $14 Eye Patches Help Her Wake Up

[ad_1]

Lilly Singh broke barriers in 2019, when she became the first openly bisexual woman to host a late-night talk show. Now in its second season, A Little Late With Lilly Singh is one of the most refreshing programs in the late-night space, masterfully mixing sketch comedy and interviews with everyone from Priyanka Chopra to Brie Larson and Tyra Banks. Singh has always been a pop culture powerhouse, but after conquering late-night, she’s a certified boss.

And she’s tributing other bosses on her show for a full week, starting March 22. Aptly titled Boss Week and in honor of Women’s History Month, Singh will spend her next five episodes spotlighting women across industries who are movers and shakers. “Late-night is very glitz and glamour, but it’s not always deep and inspirational in that way,” she tells Glamour. “So I want to dedicate a week to boss women, to really dive into their brains and what it takes to be them.”

In honor of Boss Week, Singh hopped on a call with Glamour and told us a few of the things it takes to be her. Spoiler: Kraft mac-and-cheese is involved. Read our latest edition of Your Fave’s Faves, below, to find out more.

The last thing I bought

I buy things so often from Instagram ads. I bought a ProSleepy pillow that’s supposed to be good for your neck support. Before that, I also bought plants for my house—in quarantine I’ve become completely obsessed with plants and keeping plants alive and being a plant mom.

My favorite pair of sneakers

I generally prefer an oversized dad-sneaker-type vibe. I have this pair of Adidas sneakers I absolutely love. I love a pair of Converse, especially if they’re high-top. I recently got a pair of sneakers from Adidas and Beyoncé’s collab, Superstar. Somehow they’ve made a sneaker that has the sophistication of a heel but is still a sneaker. It’s super dope.

The sweatpants I’m living in at the moment

I have an Adidas tracksuit, and I just love it. I love Adidas through and through, so most of my stuff is Adidas.

The beauty products that put the finishing touch on my look

I do love my Olay products, especially ones that have SPF. I also cannot look awake without mascara. I use a lot of mists to set my makeup but also to be refreshed. I’ve dabbled with Selena Gomez’s Rare Beauty mist and also Olay’s beauty mist. I also love a lip mask. Laneige has a lip mask that I really, really like.

My staple fragrance

I still wear the same fragrance I’ve always worn, and it’s because I love it and I’m comfortable with it. It’s Vera Wang Princess. That is the smell I love, and it’s the one I continuously wear. I feel like fragrance is so much a part of who you are, and if I was to randomly smell so different, I think people would be thrown off.

The self-care product that’s essential to my routine

The Petitfee Black Pearl & Gold Hydrogel Eye Patch—I wear those every morning, and it’s truly a godsend for me because I’m not a morning person. It hurts me to wake up, and these eye patches are my ultimate self-care in the morning.

What’s in my TV queue

Currently I’m watching season two of The Servant on Apple TV+. I just watched The Great, which I also adored. I also just started watching The Great North, the animated show about a father and his family who lives in Alaska. It’s so funny.

The food that brings me the most comfort

My comfort food will forever and always be Kraft mac-and-cheese. There will never be a time when I don’t want Kraft mac-and-cheese or it does not have my soul.

A Little Late With Lilly Singh airs weeknights 1:35 a.m. E.T. on NBC.
