Lana Condor Swears By This Cult-Favorite Lipstick

I’m so glad you said that because people need to be more aware of what they’re saying to others, especially in fittings. In that case, how do you take a moment for yourself when you get anxious or stressed?

For me, it’s tub time. Tub time is the best time! I have three huge candles that I put in the bathroom and shut off the lights, and then I put everything from CBD salts to magnesium. I’ve become a mixologist! I do it every night, and I noticed it’s helped me sleep like a baby.

What is the best advice your mom ever gave you when it came to beauty or skin care?

Sunscreen. Skin cancer runs in my mom’s family and she has always told me that you don’t want to go through that when you’re older. Neutrogena has a great spray that I recommend to a lot of people if they’re lazy skin-care users. It takes one second, which is so convenient. I also use it to set my makeup.

Fill in the blank: I love my hair…

When it’s styled! My hairstylist does a really lovely mermaid, beachy wave that I can never figure out how to do myself. I don’t know how people do it even though I’ve watched many a tutorial.

Let’s say you can use only three products for the rest of your life. What are they?

The Advanced Pro Heal Serum from iSClinical. So good. When I’m super stressed, I get red rashes around my eyes, and the iSClinical has been really helping with that. Second, Vegamour has this great scalp-detoxifying serum for my hair that is awesome, and also promotes hair growth, which I’m all about. And I recently started using Neutrogena’s gentle nighttime makeup-removing wipes in the purple package, which keeps my skin feeling really luscious after. I can’t live without them.

Let’s play Screw, Marry, or Kill, but with mascara, lipstick, and highlighter.

Kill highlighter! Nothing against it, but I just never figured out how to put it on properly. Marry mascara because my love of lashes is lifelong and runs very deep. I do have lash extensions on most of the time, but Tarte has a really nice mascara that I can put on top of my extensions. It has great ingredients too. I think it’s important to be open about the extensions because these lashes are stunning and I can’t grow them myself! [Laughs.] And then screw lipstick. I love Charlotte Tilbury’s Pillow Talk lipstick. The formula is great, it looks beautiful, and it works with my everyday look.

Finally, what city or country gives you the greatest beauty inspiration?

Seoul, Korea. You can’t really beat it. The skin-care and makeup products and just the dedication to the skin…it’s my biggest inspiration.
