Fans Think Ben Affleck Wore an Item From His ‘Bennifer’ Days While Out With Jennifer Lopez

FBI, if you’re reading this, you have nothing on Twitter. On May 23, an account devoted to Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck—who only recently rekindled their spark from 20 years ago—spotted something interesting in those Miami pictures from late May.

“It’s the lil things,” @jloaffleck tweeted. “Ben Affleck wearing the same watch JLo gave him while filming ‘Jenny From The Block.’” Alongside the tweet were two images: one from the 2021 outing, and one from some time in the original Bennifer era between 2002 and 2004.

If you look at the pics (click here), it does appear to be the same silver chain-link watch Affleck used to sport while dating Lopez. Here’s another pic to jog your memory:

And yes, here is a pic from the set of J.Lo’s 2002 music video for “Jenny on the Block”:

Of course, the watch is there but can we talk about that pink tracksuit?! Throwback!

Obviously, we don’t know whether Affleck ever stopped wearing the watch, but we’re squealing over it anyway—and so are people online. “Oooh I am here for this!!!! Not gonna lie I have always thought they were each other’s ‘the one that got away,’” one user quote-tweeted

After their initial viral hangout in April, the former couple traveled to Montana, visited each other in L.A., and, most recently, took the aforementioned trip to Miami. While neither party has confirmed the relationship, a source recently told Us Weekly that an announcement is likely on the horizon

“It’s very clear they’ve fallen for each other again in a very intense way, but they don’t want to jinx anything by attaching labels or putting themselves under too much pressure,” the source said. “When the time is right and assuming things continue to evolve romantically between them, likely a month or two, they’ll probably go Instagram official or step out hand in hand at a restaurant somewhere.”

He’ll probably be wearing the watch. As he should.
